Abstract:
A color photographic light-sensitive material is described, having on a support silver halide emulsion layers associated with a yellow dye-providing compound, a magenta dye-providing compound, and a cyan dye-providing compound, and having thereon the same support or having a different support an image-receiving layer, said image-receiving layer comprising (1) a first image-receiving layer containing at least one kind of a cyclic quaternary ammonium mordant (I) having a quaternary ammonium salt moiety of a saturated cyclic amine or pyridine as a recurring unit for preferentially mordanting a cyan dye released or formed from said cyan dye-providing compound as a result of development and (2) a second image-receiving layer containing at least one kind of a quaternary ammonium mordant (II) having a quaternary ammonium salt moiety of an acyclic amine as a recurring unit for selectively mardanting a magenta dye and a yellow dye released or formed from said magenta dye-providing compound and said yellow dye-providing compound, respectively, as a result of development.
Abstract:
A color diffusion transfer photographic element which comprises a support having provided thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a non-diffusible redox compound capable of releasing a diffusible dye or a precursor thereof by processing with an alkaline processing solution containing 3-pyrazolidinone type developing agent in the presence of a silver halide developing agent after exposure to light, wherein said alkaline processing solution is subjected to a heat treatment before use under a substantially oxygen-free condition for at least T days, wherein T is represented by the formula ##EQU1## wherein X represents the maximum temperature at which the heated alkaline processing solution is held, provided that X is about 40.degree. C. or more.
Abstract:
In a packet transmission system in which a plurality of kinds of telephone signals are packetized and transmitted, when a voice signal call is originated, a real channel is established for the voice signal call prior to a signal call other than a voice signal call, so that a transmission channel is occupied in each frame. When the voice signal call is over, the transmission channel allocated to the voice signal call, is changed to a condition in which another call can be allocated thereto. The system is useful for effective utilization of a packet communication network, without impairing the transmission quality requirement for a voice signal call.
Abstract:
A polymer film that has an in-plane retardation Re(λ) and a thickness-direction retardation Rth(λ) satisfying formula (i) and (ii), and that further has a surface energy of at least one surface is from 50 mN/m to 80 mN/m: 0≦Re(630)≦10, and |Rth(630)|≦25; and (i) |Re(400)−Re(700)|≦10, and |Rth(400)−Rth(700)|≦35. (ii) in the formulae, Re(λ) and Rth(λ) are measurement values at the wavelength of λ nm, and an optically-compensatory film, an optical material such as a polarizer and a liquid-crystal display device using the polymer film.
Abstract:
To provide a safety device of a battery temperature control system for an EV or an HEV capable of preventing an electric shock due to the electrical conduction across terminals of batteries in the event of a vehicle collision.A safety device used in a temperature control system of a battery for a vehicle, including a first heat exchange unit (1) which includes a first heat exchange section (2) filled with a liquid-state heat medium into a pipe (3) and exchanging heat with a battery (B) by the heat medium, and a second heat exchange unit (20) which includes a second heat exchange section (21) heating or cooling the heat medium subjected to heat exchange in the first heat exchange section (2), wherein the heat medium existing in the first heat exchange section is discharged to the outside of the first heat exchange section, for example, under a predetermined condition such as a vehicle collision.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an automatic acquiring unit which is configured to form a mark for detecting at least one of positional deviation and density deviation and acquire an amount of deviation by measuring the mark, an image forming unit which is configured to form an image while adjusting at least one of positional deviation and density deviation based on a correction value specified by the amount of deviation, and an output unit which is configured to execute at least one of a pattern printing process and a notifying process when an amount of deviation within a permissible range is not acquired by the automatic acquiring unit. The pattern printing process includes printing a pattern image for specifying a correction value on a recording sheet. The notifying process includes making notification for prompting execution of the pattern printing process.

A production method of a base plate for a disk drive made by aluminum die casting which can reduce scattering of particles and minimizes particle contamination is provided. The production method of a base plate for a disk drive includes a forming step for forming a base member by aluminum die casting, a coating step for coating the base member with a resin film, a machining step for removing a part of the resin film and a surface layer of the base member in order to expose the aluminum surface, a pretreatment step for immersing the base member with the exposed aluminum surface in a pretreatment solution containing no fluoride, and a metal film forming step for coating the exposed aluminum surface with a metal film.
Abstract:
An ozone generator generates ozone gas; a gas-liquid mixer mixes the ozone gas and a liquid; a liquid storage tank separates an introduced gas-liquid mixture into gas and a liquid; a circulation path circulates gas among the ozone generator, the gas-liquid mixer and the liquid storage tank; and an opening and closing control means controls a flow of gas flowing out through a gas outlet port of the liquid storage tank in accordance with a stored liquid amount in the liquid storage tank. As a result, the stored liquid amount of the liquid stored in the liquid storage tank can be adjusted.
