Abstract: A terminal may include a transmitter that transmits, to a base station, a terminal capability indicating support for a first type of measurement configuration or a second type of measurement configuration. The terminal may include a receiver that receives, from the base station, network configuration information representative of a mapping between the first type of measurement configuration and the second type of measurement configuration. The terminal may include a processor that, based on the mapping, transforms the first type of measurement configuration to the second type of measurement configuration or transforms the second type of measurement configuration to the first type of measurement configuration. The network configuration information may be based on an independent frequency range (FR) measurement and a network preference included in the terminal capability.

Abstract: The implementations disclosed provide apparatus, systems, and methods for downlink control information (DCI) enhancement for a reduced-complexity new radio (NR) wireless device. The wireless device includes one or more processors configured to transmit a type of the wireless device to a base station communicatively coupled to the wireless device. A format of the DCI is received from the base station. The DCI includes multiple bit strings indicating a schedule of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). The format specifies a respective number of bits for each bit string. The format is defined by the base station based on the type of the wireless device. The DCI is received from the base station using a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The multiple bit strings are extracted from the DCI based on the format of the DCI.

Abstract: A wireless device may establish communication with a network node and determine a relationship between transmission configuration indication (TCI) and bandwidth part (BWP). The wireless device may then receive an indication of one of TCI or BWP from the network node followed by determining the other of TCI or BWP based on the indication and using the relationship between the TCI and BWP. Finally, the wireless device may perform downlink communication using the indicated one of TCI or BWP and determined other TCI or BWP. The network node may be comprised in a non-terrestrial network and may specify via RRC signaling the relationship between TCI and BWP for the wireless device. The indication of the TCI or BWP may be provided by downlink control information (DCI), medium access control (MAC) control element (CE), an inactivity timer, or RRC reconfiguration commands.

In one aspect, a dedicated radio resource control (RRC) signaling is used to configure a UL gap by transmitting. The UL gap configuration may indicate a reference cell to determine a UL gap pattern for a multi-radio dual connectivity (MR-DC) configuration. The UL gap configuration may indicate a system frame number (SFN) and a subframe of the reference cell used for calculating the UL gap pattern. Abstract: The present disclosure is related to indication of simultaneous RX beams capability and related measurement resource coordination. In an embodiment, a UE is configured to receive, from a base station, a measurement configuration comprising a measurement period for performing measurements on one or more carriers. The UE is further configured to assign measurement resources to the one or more carriers based on a simultaneous RX beams capability, wherein the measurement resources comprise searchers and RX beams during each measurement occasion. The UE is further configured to determine a measurement period scaling factor for the one or more carriers based on the assigned resources. With this capability, the UE can complete L1 and/or L3 measurements and transmit a measurement report to the base station earlier.
