Abstract:
In some embodiments, the invention involves collecting service health information from a plurality of cloud service provider associated with a customer. Once the service health information is collected, aggregating information from multiple providers, when necessary, and providing a service health report to the customer. The customer has agreements with both the service providers and information collector to receive a level of service health information regarding services provided. The information collector may have agreements with the service providers to retrieve or receive the requested service health information for the customers via a pre-agreed upon protocol. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to fabrics, composites, prepregs, laminates, and other products incorporating glass fibers formed from glass compositions. The glass fibers, in some embodiments, are incorporated into composites that can be adapted for use in high energy impact applications such as ballistic or blast resistance applications. Glass fibers formed from some embodiments of the glass compositions can have certain desirable properties that can include, for example, desirable electrical properties (e.g. low Dk) or desirable mechanical properties (e.g., specific strength).
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a circuit board and a navigation key arranged on the circuit board. The circuit board forms a number of switches thereon. The navigation key includes a key cap, a frame, and a number of elastic connecting arms The key cap includes an annular operating portion configured for pressing, and a number of actuators extending from the operating portion towards the circuit board. Each actuator hangs above one corresponding switch, and contacts with the corresponding switch when the operation portion of the navigation key is pressed. The frame is arranged around the key cap, and is fixedly assembled to the circuit board. The elastic connecting arms interconnect the operation portion of the key cap and the frame to limit rotation of the key cap.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to materials comprising organic-inorganic polymeric networks. In some embodiments, the present invention provides an organic-inorganic composite material comprising an inorganic metal oxide matrix interpenetrating with a polymeric phase. Additionally, the present invention provides methods of producing organic-inorganic composite materials.
Abstract:
Glass compositions are provided that are useful in electronic applications, e.g., as reinforcements in printed circuit board substrates. Reduced dielectric constants are provided relative to E-glass, and fiber forming properties are provided that are more commercially practical than D-glass.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for an automated system management process are described. According to an embodiment of the invention, a method comprises receiving data regarding operation of a network; automatically generating network policies based at least in part on the data regarding operation of the network using automation intelligence; applying the network policies to modify operations of the network; and receiving data regarding the operation of the network after the modification of the operations of the network.
Abstract:
A locating method is provided. The serving ASN-GW sends locating measurement information to a WiMAX terminal; the WiMAX terminal measures the locating data, and sends the locating data measurement result to the entity capable of calculating locating information; and the entity capable of calculating locating information calculates the locating information according to the locating data measurement result. A locating system, a locating data measurement entity, an LCF, and a calculation entity are also disclosed herein. The provided method, system and entity may provide a Locating Service (LCS) for the users in a WiMAX network.
Abstract:
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for identifying content within a scanned document. The apparatus includes a modification module, an identification module, and a segmentation module. The modification module creates a modified content data set through application of a sigmoid function to a scanned content data set. The identification module identifies a content segment within the modified content data set. The segmentation module identifies a content segment type of the content segment. Exemplary content segment types include text, line art, and images.
Abstract:
A fastening structure for fastening a hardware component is disclosed. The fastening structure includes a supporting portion defining a through stepped hole including a small-diameter hole and a large-diameter hole. Furthermore, the fastening structure includes a nut wedged into the large-diameter hole. A screw may successively passing through the hardware component and the small-diameter hole to screwably engage with the nut.
