    摘要: This invention concerns particulate reinforced Al-based composites, and the near net shape forming process of their components. The average size of the reinforced particle in the invented composites is 0.1–3.5 μm and the volume percentage is 10–40%, and a good interfacial bonding between the reinforced particulate and the matrix is formed with the reinforced particles uniformly distributed. The production method of its billet is to have the reinforced particles and Al-base alloy powder receive variable-speed high-energy ball-milling in the balling drum. Then, with addition of a liquid surfactant, the ball-mill proceeds to carry on ball-milling. After the ball-milling, the produced composite powder undergoes cold isostatic pressing and the subsequent vacuum sintering or vacuum hot-pressing to be shaped into a hot compressed billet, which in turn undergoes semisolid thixotropic forming and may be shaped into complex-shaped components. These components can be used in various fields. This product is featured with excellent property, good machinability, stable quality, component near net shape forming and cost effective and higher performance.

    摘要: A accurate time measurement circuit. The design is amenable to implementation as a CMOS integrated circuits, making the circuit suitable for a highly integrated system, such as automatic test equipment where multiple time measurement circuits are required. The circuit uses a delay locked loop to generate a plurality of signals that are delayed in time by an interval D. The signal to be measured is fed to a bank of delay elements, each with a slightly different delay with the difference in delay between the first and the last being more than D. An accurate time measurement is achieved by finding coincidence between one of the TAP signals and one of the delay signals. The circuit has much greater accuracy than a traditional delay line based time measurement circuit with the same number of taps. It therefore provides both accuracy and fast re-fire time and is less susceptible to noise.

    摘要: A method of processing speech representative of ideograms for speech communication using an asynchronous communication channel (21) is disclosed. The method includes the step of processing speech units of a speech and data indicative of the speech units. Each speech unit is representative of an ideogram or a plurality of semantically related ideograms (500-508). The data indicative of the speech units is discretely communicable on the asynchronous communication channel (21). By communicating the data indicative of the speech units, a substantially low data transmission rate and intelligible speech communication is achieved.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for dynamically balancing traffic loads in a communications system (such as satellite communications systems), based on a control of collision rates via the real-time control of throughput of channels of the communications system (such as a real time throughput of random access channels in a satellite network). The method and apparatus generates and transmits to remote nodes or terminals an operating probability based on the determined throughput for transmission using the communications channel. Also, the method and apparatus includes receiving by at least one terminal the generated operating probability and determining by the at least one terminal a transmission probability for the communications channel based upon the received operating probability, which can further be adjusted by one or more of a received upper or lower limit of the generated operating probability or a collision rate for the communications channel.
