Abstract:
A curved reflective mirror includes a flat glass structure, an intermediate adhesive layer, and a flat glass mirror. The intermediate adhesive layer is positioned between the flat glass structure and the flat glass mirror. The flat glass structure, the intermediate adhesive layer, and the flat glass mirror are curved and deformed in a mechanical manner with the support of a mold. The curved and deformed flat glass structure, intermediate adhesive layer, and flat glass mirror are solidified and bonded together in a heating and/or ultraviolet (UV) light radiation and/or room temperature solidification manner to form a composite curved structure. Also provided is a method for manufacturing a curved reflective mirror. The curved reflective mirror can be widely applied in the fields of solar thermal collection and concentration and solar thermal power generation.
Abstract:
A channel estimating method is provided for a signal transmitted in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system, wherein an OFDM symbol of the signal has at least one null subcarrier set in its defined bandwidth. The method includes: obtaining at least one initial channel estimate over at least one OFDM symbol of a received signal; processing the at least one initial channel estimate for delivering at least one soft information in a form of a complete matrix; and updating the at least one initial channel estimate by performing a truncated singular value decomposition of a partial FFT matrix. The partial FFT matrix includes only the first LDP columns and the rows NDP of an FFT matrix of the complete matrix, the NDP rows corresponding to modulated subcarriers of received signal, including data and pilot symbols and excluding the at least one null subcarrier, delivering an improved channel estimate.

A method for relaying and forwarding feedback information in hybrid automatic repeat request scenario is provided, wherein the method for sending feedback information includes that: a relay station receives a resource allocation message; the relay station determines the time of sending the feedback information according to the resource allocation message, and sends the corresponding feedback information when the feedback time arrives. The processes of triggering the relay station to perform feedback or sending in multiple HARQ scenarios such as initial transmission and retransmission of downlink and uplink, and uplink feedback loss of subordinate node etc. are integrally and uniformly defined according to the present invention.

A segment of a component for use in a gas turbine includes a leading edge; a trailing edge; a pair of opposed lateral sides between the leading and trailing edges; and a seal slot provided in each lateral side. The seal slot includes a surface having a channel extending in an axial direction defined from the leading edge to the trailing edge, at least one inlet to the channel, and at least one outlet from the channel. The at least one outlet is spaced downstream from the at least one inlet in the axial direction. The segment may be an inner shroud segment or a nozzle segment.
Abstract:
The invention provides a naturally occurring strain of Lactobacillus crispatus with advantageous characteristics. The strain colonizes mucosal surfaces, particularly vaginal surfaces. The strain is also capable of rapid growth in a number of conditions and is highly viable after desiccation. Moreover, the strain is capable of preventing and reducing pathogenic infection of vaginal mucosa.

A switched resonant power converter applies AC to an induction motor. The power converter controls the magnitude and phase of the motor current, and tuning the stator flux accordingly in order to control the motor speed. A preprocessor operates on a speed command signal by getting the user speed command input to produce amplitude and phase-related signals for application to inputs of the power converter control.

The invention discloses a method for fragmenting, transmitting and receiving network topology information. In the transmitting method, a BS transmits fragmentations of a neighborhood broadcast message carrying network topology information, wherein at least one of the fragmentations carries indication information which can indicate changed fragmentations. The solution can decrease the time delay of the information acquisition and subsequent operation.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method for user position notification and a mobile terminal thereof. The mobile terminal includes: an acquisition module configured for acquiring videophone images and mobile terminal position information; a transmitter module configured for concurrently transmitting the video phone images and position information to the call opposite end of the mobile terminal. The present invention enables the user to acquire the position and video images of the opposite end at the same time, and therefore improves satisfaction of the user.
