Abstract:
A balanced hinge device with a brake has a first connector (3) adapted to be fixed to a structure or frame and connected via at least a kinematic element (8) to a second connector (5) adapted to be fixed to a door or a shutter. The device (1) has at least one friction part (9) fixed to at least one among the first connector (3), the second connector (5) and the kinematic element (8). Each friction part (9) slidably contacts, at least at a predetermined rotation arc of one connector (3, 5) with respect to the other connector, a portion of at least one among the first connector (3), the second connector (5) and the kinematic element (8) and with at least a contact (11).
Abstract:
A balanced hinge device with a programmable brake for household appliances has first and second connection members (4, 5) mutually pivoted through a first pivot pin (6) and interconnected by a kinematic device (11) having an arm (8), pivoted via a second pivot pin (9) to one of the two members (4, 5). The arm (8) and one of the two members (4, 5) has a through slot (2) and the other member has a friction element (3) slidably frictionally engaged with the through slot (2) which is approximately shaped to follow a trajectory of the friction element (3) between a full closed condition (C) and a full open condition (A).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive arrangement for an adjusting element of a motor vehicle, a clutch arrangement which is connected into the drive train with a drive connection and a driven connection, the clutch arrangement at any rate forwarding a movement which is introduced on the drive side to the driven connection and having a braking arrangement for braking a movement which is introduced on the output side. The braking arrangement has a braking element which can be adjusted counter to a braking force, in that, between the output connection and the braking element, the clutch arrangement has a freewheel arrangement comprising at least one freewheel pair of clamping body freewheels which operate in opposite directions, in that a movement which is introduced on the output side always brings about the blocking of at least one clamping body freewheel and is correspondingly braked via the braking arrangement.
Abstract:
A hold open rod is provided. The hold open rod includes an outer tube, a lock body connected to the outer tube, an inner tube, slidingly disposed within the outer tube and lock body, the inner tube having an outer surface, and a friction pad captured between the lock body and the outer surface of the inner tube. A method for damping movement of a telescoping rod is also provided. The method includes attaching the locking body to an outer tube, configuring the outer tube and the inner tube to move with respect to each other in a telescoping manner, fitting a damper between an outer diameter of an inner tube and a locking body, and fitting the damper to frictionally engage the outer diameter of the inner tube and the locking body.
Abstract:
An automotive vehicle includes one or more swinging doors which may be immobilized in a number of positions, so as to allow the doors to be used to assist passengers upon entering and leaving the vehicle. The motion of the door may be damped, or stopped entirely, either at the discretion of a vehicle occupant, or automatically, in the event that the door is driven by external forces to swing at a high rate.
Abstract:
A washing machine according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a top cover where a laundry entrance hole is formed through which laundry is put in from above; a lid assembly coupled to the top cover in a rotatable manner and opening and closing the laundry entrance hole; a first hinge connecting the top cover and the lid assembly; and a cam being installed in the first hinge and preventing the lid assembly from being rotated more than a maximum opening angle.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an item of furniture including a furniture body, a furniture part which is displaceably received in or on the furniture body, and an ejection device having at least one ejection element for displacing the moveable furniture part from a closed position into a first open position. At least one lockable drive device is provided for driving the at least one ejection element. The invention is characterized by means for displacing the at least one ejection element beyond the first open position.
Abstract:
An anti-back drive system preferably includes a drive housing, a drive ring, a lock ring and an output pinion. The drive housing includes a drive counterbore. The drive housing is secured to an electric motor. The drive ring preferably includes a base member and a plurality of drive projections. The drive ring is secured to a drive shaft of the electric motor. The lock ring includes a plurality of inward facing cam surfaces and a plurality of inward facing loop projections. The output pinion includes a drive gear and a plurality of drive fingers, which extend radially outward from the output pinion. The plurality of inward facing cam surfaces are sized to receive an end perimeter of said plurality of drive fingers. A push on clip is secured to the drive shaft to retain the drive ring, the lock ring and the output pinion on the drive shaft.
Abstract:
A locking device for securing a motor vehicle component which is displaceable relative to a motor vehicle structure and which may be secured by means of the locking device within a displacement range in a respective position of rest reached by displacement is provided. The locking device comprising at least one first frictional element and at least one second frictional element, which is moved relative to the first frictional element upon displacement of the motor vehicle component and thereby may slide with a friction surface along a friction surface of the first frictional element under sliding friction conditions and which, in a respective position of rest of the motor vehicle component, with its friction surface bears against the friction surface of the second frictional element under static friction conditions. A flowable additional medium is provided which may be brought, upon a relative movement of the frictional elements, between their friction surfaces.
Abstract:
A rotary damper includes an operating part mounted in an interior in a vehicle in such a manner that the operating part can be introduced or withdrawn, an operating part case that guides a path of the operating part, a pinion gear mounted to one side of the operating part and a guide rail rotatably mounted to the operating part case such that the pinion gear can be engaged with the guide rail. Further, a separation preventing protrusion is provided at a portion of the guide rail, where the pinion gear starts to move in a curvilinear form, the separation preventing protrusion configured to support an outside surface of the pinion gear.
