    Abstract: A hanger for connecting a structural component to a wall that can have sheathing mounted thereon either before or after the hanger is connected to the wall. The hanger includes a channel-shaped portion configured to receive the structural component. An extension portion extends from the channel-shaped portion and is configured to extend through the sheathing to engage the wall at a first location. A connection portion is configured for attachment to the wall at a second location spaced from the first location.

    Abstract: A wall anchor for use in a cavity wall to connect to a veneer tie to join an inner wythe and an outer wythe of the cavity wall includes an elongate body having a longitudinal axis, a driven end portion and a driving end portion. The driven end portion is adapted to be threadedly mounted on the inner wythe of the cavity wall. The driving end portion includes a drive head including a receptor opening for capturing a portion of a veneer tie. The receptor opening extends transverse to the longitudinal axis of the elongate body through the drive head. A thermal spacer is attached to the elongate bod. The thermal spacer has a conductivity less than a thermal conductivity of the elongate body and is configured and arranged to reduce thermal transfer in the cavity wall along the elongate body.

    Abstract: A facade support system can be attached to a wall of a structure to support a veneer on the wall. A bracket of the support system that can be attached to the wall includes a connecting plate and a mounting member. A support attached to the connecting plate can be disposed in a mortar bed joint of the veneer. A standoff positioned for engagement with the wall is selectively attachable to the connecting plate in different locations for maintaining a substantially horizontal position of the support. In some instances the mounting member may have detents engageable with detents on a washer. In other instances both the connecting plate and the mounting member include detents.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for pre-tensioning backing materials of a tufted product. The systems can include at least first and second tensioning assemblies and a guide assembly. Each tensioning assembly can have a backing supply subassembly for supporting a backing material and a roller subassembly for effecting movement of the backing material at a desired tension. The roller subassembly can include a driven roller for pulling the backing material from the backing supply subassembly, and a compensator for receiving the backing material from the driven roller. The guide assembly can simultaneously receive the tensioned backing materials from the tensioning assemblies and position the backing materials in contact with each other for delivery to a tufting machine at the desired tension.

    Abstract: An assembly and method for automated cutting of undesired stretched yarn in a yarn system. Stretched yarn can hang away from the yarn system differently than desired yarn. A cutter head is positioned a predetermined distance relative to yarn traveling through the yarn system so that the stretched yarn is cut by the cutter head and the desired yarn passes the cutter head without being cut. A plurality of cutter heads can be used to cut stretched yarn hanging away from the yarn system in different locations.
