Abstract:
A working height adjustment device of a processing machine includes a slide seat mounted to a fixing frame seat. The slide seat is provided with an adjustment seat having a through hole. The through hole is inserted with a micro adjustment rod having a threaded section. The micro adjustment rod is pivotally connected with a rotatable handle. A control rod having a link rod is provided between the fixing frame seat and the slide seat. The adjustment seat has an accommodation hole which is provided with an elastic member, a movable member and a push knob. The movable member has an engaging hole. One side of the engaging hole is formed with a toothed portion. The threaded section of the micro adjustment rod passes through the engaging hole. One end of the movable member is inserted into the elastic member, and another end is connected with the push knob.
Abstract:
The invention includes a method for preparing and top coating an item made of powder coated MDF (or other substrate containing wood) with the end result of improved visual and tactile smoothness; the invention includes the steps of cutting and machining the part, pre-powder preparation and sanding of the part, powder coating the part, post-powder preparation and sanding, and applying the liquid top coat to the part, resulting in a smoother finish than is currently available in any other powder coated MDF finish while requiring less coats than similar liquid paint finishes.
Abstract:
An automatic processing unit comprising a conveyor (1) extending through the automated processing unit and having a longitudinal direction and a transversal direction; and at least one working station located above the conveyor (1) for processing a workpiece (2). The working station is configured such that it can be displaced in an oblique angle in relation to both the longitudinal direction and the transversal direction of the conveyor (1).
Abstract:
A Sanding machine for sanding of workpieces including relief formations passed in a direction of conveyance through the sanding machine, the sanding machine comprising sanding heads extending transverse to the direction of conveyance of workpieces passed through the machine to lengthwise sand the workpieces, and sanding drums staggered along the direction of conveyance of workpieces passed through the machine, each of the sanding drums having a rotation shaft aligned substantially parallel with the direction of conveyance of workpieces passed through the machine, the sanding drums being movable horizontally in a direction substantially parallel to the direction of extension of the sanding heads for allowing a cyclic movement of the sanding drums from side to side in the machine during sanding of the workpieces as the workpieces are conveyed through the machine.
Abstract:
The invented Sander with Orbiting Platen and Abrasive includes a platen, an abrasive secured to the platen, and a motor connected to the platen to move the platen and abrasive in an orbit or circular pattern. The motor is connected to the platen by a belt that extends around at least one drive shaft, where the shaft includes two ends with a step between the ends so that when the shaft is rotated around one end's longitudinal axis, the step causes a portion of the shaft and the platen to orbit around that axis. The preferred embodiment of the invented sander includes a frame, a conveyor, first and second drive shafts that support a brace and that cause the brace to move in a first orbit, second and third drive shafts that are supported by the brace and connected to an orbit so that when the second and third drive shafts are rotated, the platen moves in a second orbit, and a plurality of rubber or synthetic rubber stabilizers positioned between the brace and platen. In the invented sander the conveyor feeds a product toward the platen and a rotating brush abrades and polishes the product after it has been sanded by the platen.
Abstract:
An improved apparatus for applying lane dressing to bowling lane surfaces is provided which precisely controls the desired quantity and distribution of lane dressing applied to selective treatment zones presented by the bowling lane surface. The preferred apparatus includes a plurality of activatable metering pumps which discharge discrete, predetermined quantities of lane dressing to a transfer mechanism. The transfer mechanism distributes and transfers the lane dressing quantities to selected portions of an applicator buffer roller which in turn applies the lane dressing quantities to corresponding bowling lane treatment zones.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a bowling lane maintenance apparatus of applying a conditioning oil to the surface of a bowling lane and then buff finishing the oil applied bowling lane surface, said maintenance apparatus including a body, a box member pivotally mounted on said body and including a pair of parallel spaced side plates, oil applicator and buffing rollers rotatably supported within said box member perpendicular to said side plates and disposed on the opposite sides about the pivot, and a positioning air cylinder mechanism operably interposed between said body and one edge of said box member at its longitudinal center, said positioning air cylinder mechanism being adapted to pivot said box member such that one of said oil applicator and buffing rollers will be brought into contact with the surface of the bowling lane or both the rollers will be separated from the bowling lane surface.
