摘要: The invention relates to a polyethylene sealant film comprising an outer layer O, a core layer C and an inner layer I, wherein the core layer C is made of a core layer composition comprising a component AC, which is a recycled low density ethylene polymer in an amount of at least 50 wt. %, based on the total weight of the core layer composition, and a slip agent; and the inner layer I is made of an inner layer composition comprising a component AI, which is a linear low density ethylene polymer having a density of from 910 to 925 kg/m3 and an MFR2 of from 0.5 to 2.0 g/10 min. determined according to ISO 1133. The invention further relates to a laminated polyethylene film and article comprising this polyethylene sealant film. The invention further relates to the use of the laminated polyethylene film and/or the polyethylene sealant film for packaging of an article.

摘要: A composite material includes a matrix and a heat-conductive fiber. The matrix includes an organic polymer and forms a porous structure. The heat-conductive fiber is fixed in the porous structure by the matrix. A heat conductivity determined at ordinary temperature by a steady state heat flow method in a fiber axis direction of the heat-conductive fiber is 10 W/(m·K) or more. A density d [g/cm3] of the composite material and a heat conductivity λ [W/(m·K)] in a given direction of the composite material satisfy requirements d≤1.1, λ>1, and 4≤λ/d≤100.

摘要: A biobased polymer composition for pharmaceutical articles includes a low density polyethylene, in which at least a portion of ethylene is obtained from a renewable source of carbon. The biobased polymer composition exhibits an Emission Factor ranging from −3.5 to 0 kg CO2e/kg of the biobased polymer composition, and is biocompatible for use in pharmaceutical packaging. A pharmaceutical article includes the biobased polymer composition and has a volume ranging from 0.04 ml to 10000 ml. A method for forming a pharmaceutical article includes extruding the biobased polymer composition at a temperature ranging from 100 to 250° C. and at a screw speed ranging from 20 to 100 rpm. A method for producing a biobased polymer composition includes polymerizing ethylene at least partially obtained from a renewable source of carbon to form a low density polyethylene.

摘要: Woven irrigation tubing comprises a woven, extrusion coated & laminated tube formed of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) outer layer, a low density polyethylene (LDPE) middle layer and a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) inner layer. The finished tubing is treated for ultraviolet resistance. The tubing is tied off at a distal end with a proximal end connected to a pressurized irrigation source. Watering holes are created in the tubing at spaced intervals and the resulting water streams are directed into parallel plowed furrows. The tubing is completely recyclable. The tubing is formed by manufacturing tape for the woven outer tubing cover, stretching the tape along its length to strengthen it, weaving the outer layer from the tape, flattening the woven outer layer, extrusion coating each surface of the outer layer with LDPE, laminating the LLDPE inner layer to the LDPE, reversing and winding the tubing for storage and distribution.

A method for producing a transparent thermoformed high barrier plastic bottle is also provided.

摘要: A transparent multilayer coextruded heat shrinkable barrier film is useful for high-value packaging applications such as food and medical device packaging. The transparent multilayer coextruded heat shrinkable barrier film includes first and second outer layers formed using a transparent polyester or polyester copolymer; an inner nanolayer sequence including a plurality of nanolayers a) including ethylene vinyl alcohol, alternating with nanolayers b) including at least one of ethylene ethyl acrylate, low density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene, each of the nanolayers b) having a degree of crystallinity less than about 45%; and adhesive layers between each of the two outer layers and the inner nanolayer sequence. The film has a light transmittance of at least about 80% and a heat shrunk of at least about ten percent in at least one direction.
