Abstract: A dustproof device is provided for use with a ball screw which includes a screw rod and a nut mounted around the screw rod. The dustproof device includes an annular body and an elastic valve plate. The annular body is disposed inside the nut and penetrated by the screw rod and has an outer annular surface provided with a debris exit. The debris exit has one end in communication with a spiral passage formed between the screw rod and the nut. The elastic valve plate, which is provided at the opposite end of the debris exit of the annular body, can be pushed open by a fluid and thus opens the debris exit, allowing the debris generated by the ball screw to be discharged through the debris exit along with the fluid, thereby contributing to extending the service life of the ball screw.

Abstract: A method of detecting a preload of a linear guide includes: applying an external force to the linear guide with an external force applying device, wherein the external force applying device sends an impact signal while applying the external force; sensing with a sensor a vibration signal sent from the linear guide because of vibration thereof which occurs under the external force; and receiving the impact signal of the external force applying device and the vibration signal of the sensor and calculating the preload of the linear guide according to a received result, with a signal analyzer. Therefore, with the method of the present invention, the preload of the linear guide is precisely tested regardless of environmental factors.

Abstract: A multidirectional foot controller includes a base, a first platform, a second platform, and two pedals successively stacked and assembled together. The multidirectional foot controller is activated by having the two pedals depressed simultaneously, and then controls an externally connected endoscope to move forward or backward by a first platform, or controls the endoscope to move leftward or rightward by a second platform. By having only one of the pedals depressed, the multidirectional foot controller can change the field of view of the endoscope.

Abstract: A flexible bearing including spacers is provided. Abstract: A threadless linear guide includes a rail, a slide block, a recirculation assembly, and a fixing member. The slide block, the recirculation assembly, and the fixing member are positionable with respect to each other through retention engagements therebetween so that the components can be coupled to each other without screws. Abstract: An electric gripper system includes a motor driving a gripper mechanism, a sensor, and a controller. The sensor is assembled onto the motor for generating a current position of the gripper mechanism. The control segment generates a target position according to a relative-position command value of the transceiver segment and an absolute cumulative position of the accessible segment. The control segment generates a driving datum based on a difference between the current position and the target position, and on a rotation rate of the motor. The driving segment uses the driving datum to drive the motor to move the gripper mechanism. With calculation among the relative-position command value, the absolute cumulative position, and the current position, the motor is prevented from accumulating positional deviation.
