Abstract:
In a stator-excited synchronous machine with laminated sector stator elements (SS1 or SS2), which are arranged one behind another at an axial distance and are winding-excited by in each case one excitation winding part (EW1 or EW2) of opposite polarity, the operating efficiency can be increased with low outlay when a permanent magnet arrangement (M) having a magnetization opposing the winding excitation in the sector stator elements is provided in the axial spacing chamber between the sector stator elements (SS1 or SS2); in order to lock the position of the magnet arrangement (M), the facing laminations of the magnet arrangement (M) have bent-away tongues (Z) gripping radially from below.
Abstract:
A process is described for coating electrically conducting substrates withn insulating coating, which comprises first subjecting silicon compounds which both have groups susceptible to hydrolysis and also contain (organic) radicals accessible to a polymerization to a polycondensation, then depositing the resulting polycondensate on the subtrate and curing the coating so obtained by polymerization involving the organic radicals. If the polycondensate additionally contains groups which are capable of carrying a charge, coating by electrophoretic dip coating is possible.
Abstract:
A lacquer system which essentially comprises a silicic acid heteropolyconsate, a flake-shaped or lamellar filler, a solvent and, if appropriate a conventional synthetic resin for lacquers is suitable for producing anti-corrosion coatings, especially on glass surfaces.
Abstract:
In order to assure in a simple manner and with the smallest axial mounting space, a low-noise bearing support having little radial unbalance, two axial ball bearings (2, 3) are provided with a firm fit relative to the rotor shaft (1) and mutually braced axially by an interposed spring washer. Advantageously, ball bearing (3) next to the open end face of the bearing hole is designed as a stationary bearing with a press lift between its inner ring (31) and the rotor shaft (1) as well as between its outer ring (32) and the bearing hole.
Abstract:
In order to be able to decrease the axial height, while simultaneously simplifying the manufacture, and also increasing the operational safety of printed circuit boards with electrical structural elements, such as Hall transducers affixed and electrically contacted to it further:(a) the printed circuit board contains, at least on one side, a supporting board (2) with recesses (21-23) in the area of each Hall transducer (4; 5; 6) and its connection legs (41-43; 51-53; 61-63) and on the other side a conductive foil (3) fastened to the surface of the supporting board (2), which covers the recesses (21-23) at least in the area of the free ends of the connection legs (41-43; 51-53; 61-63) and lands (44-46; 54-56; 64-66) for the connection legs of the Hall transducers; and(b) each Hall transducer and its connection legs is placed in a recess and the connection legs extend within the recess and include angle-bent ends connected to the lands.
Abstract:
An electric multiphase motor with a closed ring housing and a pole piece star which is inserted therein after being wound from the outside, the pole piece star having axially integral pole pieces which are arranged in star-like fashion around a hollow cylinder and inserted therein in which great strength of the pole star is achieved while at the same time ensuring good electrical data by inserting the radially inner ends of the pole pieces into the hollow cylinder as individual parts up to the bore of the hollow cylinder so that after the assembly of the motor no further finishing operations are required and welding the radially outer ends of the pole pieces to the inside to the surrounding ring housing by electron beam welding starting at the outer circumference of the ring housing.
Abstract:
A worktable, in particular a dental laboratory workbench which includes a work block arranged at front side of the table, and a vacuuming device forming a unitary structure with the work block for vacuumable material or waste which is obtained during the processing or finishing of workpieces.
Abstract:
A keyboard which can be assembled from individual keys is disclosed. The individual keys include a key button, a key shaft for switching electric circuits, a stationary key body, and a spring for influencing the relative movement between the key shaft and key body. A base structure having cutouts is provided for receiving the keys. A circuit board carrying control elements cooperates with the key arrangement. The key buttons have several receiving openings for the key shafts. The cutouts in the base structure and the arrangement of the control elements on the circuit board are staggered relative to each other from row to row by a half spacing.
Abstract:
Stabilized, insolubilized biochemical materials are prepared by covalently bonding a biochemical material such as an antigen, antibody, hormone, or enzyme to a silicic acid heteropolycondensate layer which is applied to a mechanically stable support. The insolubilized biochemical materials are useful as separating agents or adsorbents in radio-immuno assays or affinity chromatography.
Abstract:
The border element of a double glazed window unit of the casement of awning type includes an elongate unitary body formed entirely of vinyl plastics; its cross-section defines: a glass-receiving base portion including a web and a pair of legs surrounding the outer marginal edges of the glass sheets; a first enclosed hollow portion integral with the opposite face of the web and defining a first insulation chamber; and a second enclosed hollow portion integral with one of the pair of legs and with the front wall of the first chamber to thereby define a second insulation chamber. A window unit is thus provided where the metallic components used for the support and the operation of the window are enclosed within these insulation chambers and where effective insulation between both faces of the window unit may still be maintained.
