摘要： A reproducing element feeding and driving circuit is provided in a rotary recording medium reproducing apparatus consisting of a signal pickup device having a reproducing element for reproducing recorded signals from a rotary recording medium, a feeding mechanism for feeding the signal pickup device, and a tracking error signal obtaining circuit for obtaining a tracking error signal so as to perform tracking control with respect to the reproducing element. The feeding and driving circuit comprises a sampling circuit for sampling the tracking error signal when the reproducing element is reproducing a point on the rotary recording medium corresponding to one of a plurality of pairs of points on the rotary recording medium, where the pairs of points are points which are at symmetrical positions along a diametrical direction of the rotary recording medium with respect to a center of the rotary recording medium, averaging circuit for averaging a value sampled by the sampling circuit and obtaining a signal substantially corresponding to a DC component of the tracking error signal, and a feed pulse applying circuit for obtaining a feed pulse having a pulse width which is in accordance with the DC component obtained from the averaging circuit and applying the feed pulse thus obtained to the feeding mechanism.

摘要： A rotary recording medium reproducing apparatus comprises a transferring circuit for transferring a reproducing element for reproducing a rotary recording medium, along a radial direction of the rotary recording medium, where the transferring circuit transfers the reproducing element at a normal speed during a normal reproduction mode, and transfers the reproducing element at a speed higher than the normal speed during a search mode in which a search is performed with respect to a desired reproducing position on the rotary recording medium, a synchronizing signal generating circuit for generating a synchronizing signal consisting of a horizontal synchronizing signal and a vertical synchronizing signal synchronized with a synchronizing signal within a video signal reproduced by the reproducing element during the search mode, a switching circuit for selectively passing the video signal reproduced by the reproducing element and the synchronizing signal obtained from the synchronizing signal generating circuit, and a control circuit for controlling and switching the switching circuit so that the switching circuit passes the video signal reproduced by the reproduced element during the normal mode and passes the synchronizing signal obtained from the synchronizing signal generating circuit during the search mode. The signal passed through the switching circuit is supplied to a television receiver.

摘要： A color video signal reproducing apparatus responds to either PAL or SECAM signals by separating a carrier chrominance signal and a luminance signal from a color video signal which is reproduced from a recording medium. The separated carrier chrominance signal is demodulated into two color difference signals. An oscillator supplies a predetermined frequency signal to the demodulators. The output frequency of the oscillator is controlled in response to a jitter component in the carrier chrominance signal. The phases of a reference signal and of a horizontal synchronizing signal are compared to produce a reference signal which is phase shifted by 180 degrees. A switching circuit operates every one horizontal scanning period in response to the reference signal. A modulating circuit responds to the reference signal and to a signal from the switching circuit by modulating them with the color difference signal. The output color video signal is produced in response thereto.

The kick pulse producing circuit comprises a timing signal generation circuit for generating a number of timing pulses equal to a maximum number of kicking positions for one revolution of the rotary recording medium, and judging and producing circuit for producing a kick pulse having a predetermined time width according to a judgement result obtained during a predetermined interval corresponding to a preceeding timing signal, in addition to judging whether a kick pulse is to be produced with respect to a succeeding timing pulse during the predetermined interval corresponding to each timing signal from the timing signal generation circuit.

The reproducing apparatus comprises a reproducing transducer having a reproducing element for reproducing the main information signal and the first and second reference signals at both sides of the main information signal track from said rotary recording medium, where the reproducing transducer has a tracking control mechanism for controlling tracking of the reproducing element, a separation circuit for respectively separating the first and second reference signals from a signal reproduced by the reproducing transducer, a wave detection circuit for respectively wave-detecting the separated reference signals, a time constant circuit for eliminating an unwanted component of an output signal of the wave detection circuit and holding a required signal, a tracking control signal applying circuit for obtaining a tracking control signal from an output signal of the time constant circuit and applying the tracking control signal to the tracking control mechanism of the reproducing transducer, and an interrupting circuit provided at a stage before the time constant circuit, for interrupting transmission of the reproduced reference signals during a mode in which a tracking control operation is not performed.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a fixing device, a temperature detector, and processing circuitry. The fixing device fixes a toner image on a surface of a sheet by heating of a heater. The temperature detector detects an internal temperature of the image forming apparatus. The processing circuitry switches a continuous print mode to an intermittent print mode when the internal temperature is equal to or higher than a first execution temperature during the continuous print mode. The processing circuitry cancels the intermittent print mode and switches to the continuous print mode when the internal temperature is equal to or lower than a first cancellation temperature. The processing circuitry causes the heater to stop heating the fixing device in the intermittent print mode when the internal temperature is higher than the first cancellation temperature even after a predetermined time has elapsed since a start of the intermittent print mode.

The controller includes a memory device to store the environment data, and is configured to compare the environment data with previous environment data stored in the memory device, and determine not to execute the charging bias adjustment process when an environment change amount is not greater than a threshold.
