According to one embodiment, when a command which requests to specify addresses and cancel pinned attribute information is input, the address to which the pinned attribute information is assigned is changed so that unpinned attribute information is associated with this address, among the addresses specified by the command. This permits information in an area corresponding to the address specified by the command to be written into a disk-shaped recording medium when executing a function of writing, into the disk-shaped recording medium, data in an area corresponding to the address of the unpinned attribute information in a cache memory.

An electric washing machine according to the present invention performs a washing process for washing laundry without the use of a detergent by generating water streams in an outer tub (2) containing an electrolyzed liquid produced through electrolysis by an electrolyzing device (31) when a zero detergent course is selected by a user. The electrolyzing device (31) is provided as a water treatment unit (60) attached to a lower portion of an outer side surface (66) of the outer tub (2), and includes a thin-box-shaped electrolyzing chamber (32), a pair of electrodes (33) supported at opposite edges thereof, and a pair of water communication paths (34, 35). The pair of water communication paths (34, 35) are disposed in a vertically juxtaposed relation to connect the outer tub (2) to the electrolyzing chamber (32) with the intervention of packings (81). Thus, an assembling operation and the like can conveniently be performed, and water can efficiently be electrolyzed for use in the washing process.

In a storage device, a high-speed read/write operation and low power consumption are realized and the service life of a storage medium which is a semiconductor memory can be made longer. The storage device includes a host interface, a command analyzing section which analyzes the contents of a command input from the host interface, a state determining section which determines the rotation state of a hard disk when a command analyzed by the command analyzing section is a command for instructing data writing, and a write processing section which transfers write data to the hard disk when the determination result of the state determining section indicates that the hard disk is being rotated and transfers the write data to the flash memory when the determination result indicates that the hard disk is not being rotated.

According to one embodiment, modulation processing to convert digital information sequences into a form that meets a request from a recording/reproducing system is performed on a digital information sequence and a dummy bit is added to the sequence, and furthermore, an error correcting parity bit sequence is added to the digital information sequence. If the added parity bit sequence does not correspond to a form that meets a request from the recording/reproducing system, a value of the dummy bit is changed and the parity bit sequence is replaced with a parity bit sequence that corresponds to the dummy bit of the changed value.

In the charge pump booster circuit, gate voltage of a transistor for pumping is controlled according to voltage, which is a feedback of boosted voltage, to control the boosted voltage.

An electroless copper plating solution which can ensure superior adhesion of a copper plating film to a flat ceramic surface having low roughness and which can form a high-frequency electronic component having superior high-frequency conductivity and a high Q value is provided. Also provided is a high frequency electronic component formed by using this electroless copper plating solution. The electroless copper plating solution of contains copper ions, nickel ions, formaldehyde or a derivative thereof, and tartaric acid or a salt thereof. The ratio of the content of the nickel ions to that of the copper ions on a molar basis is in the range of about 0.0001 to 0.015.
