摘要: A method and system are disclosed for use with an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, comprising optimizing a filter expression to select a subset of data and evaluating the filter expression on the data after the extracting, before the loading, but not during the transforming of the ETL process. The method and system optimizes the filtering using a pipelined evaluation for single predicate filtering and an adaptive optimization for multiple predicate filtering. The adaptive optimization includes an initial phase and a dynamic phase.

摘要: A combined treatment process of domestic garbage and sewage, comprising the following steps: {circle around (1)} sorting iron out of the domestic garbage; {circle around (2)} crushing the domestic garbage in which the iron has been removed; {circle around (3)} feeding the crushed domestic garbage into a sewage treatment tank, adding water and blowing air into the sewage treatment tank, where the domestic garbage is divided into floating substances, suspended substances, and settled substances; {circle around (4)} salvaging, dehydrating and drying the floating substances and then combusting them as fuel; {circle around (5)} collecting, filtering and drying the settled substances, wherein the settled substances having a calorific value of more than 4180 kJ/kg are burnt as fuel, the burnt substances and the settled substances having a calorific value of less than 4180 kJ/kg are used to replace clay material in a cement plant or used for making bricks; {circle around (6)} adding a flocculant into the sewage in which the floating substances and the settled substances have been removed so as to make the suspended substances settle, the suspended substances which have been settled are treated according to step {circle around (5)}; and {circle around (7)} treating the sewage. The process of the present invention effectively combines the domestic garbage treatment and sewage treatment, realizing the comprehensive treatment of domestic garbage and sewage as well as efficient utilization of resources.

摘要: A method for identifying emerging concepts in unstructured text streams comprises: selecting a subset V of documents from a set U of documents; generating at least one Boolean combination of terms that partitions the set U into a plurality of categories that represent a generalized, statistically based model of the selected subset V wherein the categories are disjoint inasmuch as each document of U is included in only one category of the partition; and generating a descriptive label for each of the disjoint categories from the Boolean combination of terms for that category.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method and device for obtaining a shared object associated with a real scene. A network device obtains an access respect sent by a user through user equipment based on the scene image corresponding to the real scene; performs match query in a shared object repository based on the scene image so as to obtain one or more shared objects corresponding to the access request; and provides said one or more shared objects to the user equipment. Compared with the prior art, through performing match query based on a scene image, the present invention provides a shared object associated with a real scene, which not only facilitates people to obtain information related to the scene, but also supports object sharing based on the same scene between different users, such that it is more convenient for people to obtain information and communicate with one another; besides, it also enhances use experience of users.

摘要: A mechanism lets a service consumer add mediation metadata in a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) message and lets a service provider perform server side mediation based on the pre-defined mediation metadata. A client side mediation engine is plugged into a client SOAP engine. When the client side mediation engine receives a request message from the client SOAP engine metadata is attached to a message header of a SOAP message and returned to the client SOAP engine. A server side mediation engine is plugged the server side mediation engine receives a SOAP message from the server SOAP engine, metadata is mapped with an appropriate adaptor and returned to the server SOAP engine.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for generating for at least one macroblock of a high resolution image at least one motion predictor from motion data associated to macroblock(s) of a low resolution image. The method comprises the following steps: —defining a virtual structure made up of non overlapping macroblocks, called virtual base layer macroblocks; —identifying for the high resolution macroblock corresponding virtual base layer macroblocks in the virtual image on the basis of the location of the high resolution macroblock within the high resolution image and on the basis of the ratios of low resolution and high resolution images dimensions; —deriving, for each identified virtual base layer macroblocks, motion data from motion data associated to at least one macroblock of a corresponding low resolution macroblocks pair on the basis of the field/frame mode of the corresponding low resolution macroblocks pair and on the basis of the field/frame mode of the high resolution macroblock; —resampling motion data associated to the corresponding virtual base layer macroblocks so as to generate the at least one motion predictor.

摘要: A system and method for ensuring large and frequent updates to a data warehouse. The process leverages a set of temporary staging tables to track the updates. A set of intermediate steps are performed to accomplish bulk deletions of the outdated changed records, and perform modifications to the map tables for models such as snowflake. Finally, bulk load operations load the updates and insert them into the final dimension tables. The process ensures performance comparable to insertion-only schemes with at most only slight performance degradation. Furthermore, a modified process is applied on the newfact data warehouse dimension model. The process can be readily adapted to handle star schema and other hierarchical data warehouse models.
