Abstract:
A direction switchable ratchet device for a door operator is provided. The door operator includes an electric motor, an electromagnetic brake and the direction switchable ratchet device. The direction switchable ratchet device comprises a first and second direction restricting devices and a manually operable mechanism. A drive shaft of the electric motor is braked by a brake baffle disk when the electric motor is electrically de-energized and is released when the electric motor is electrically energized. The first and second direction restricting devices are provided to prevent the drive shaft from being rotated clockwise and counter-clockwise respectively by holding the brake baffle disk. In the event of power failure, the manually operable mechanism is effective to open the door once a pawl of the direction restricting device at the free side is retracted. The manually operable mechanism of the door operator is prevented from being incorrectly mounted in a cost-effective manner.
Abstract:
A drive arrangement (10) has first and second wheels (12, 14) and an endless loop member (16). The path of the member (16) is defined in part by a third wheel (18), between the wheels (12, 14). The wheel (18) is movably mounted so that the length can be changed for the path of the member (16) as it passes around the wheel (18), between the wheels (12, -14). Accordingly, the member (16) can be tightened or slackened around the wheels (12, 14), so that the wheels (12, 14) can be coupled to convey drive from one to the other, through the member (16), or disengaged, so that drive is not conveyed.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a drive device for embarkation and disembarkation devices of public transportation vehicles, comprising a drive unit arranged within and drives a rotary column. The drive unit rotates the rotary column about the rotary column longitudinal axis Z-Z during opening and closing processes of the embarkation and disembarkation devices. The drive device is supported on the vehicle. The drive unit has a drive motor, a non-self-locking reduction gear, and a controllable blocking means with which a rotation of the rotary column can be blocked. The drive device further includes a sensor for detecting the magnitude of an external force, the force acting on the drive device. The drive device further has means for analyzing signals of the sensor and for triggering the blocking effect of the blocking means when an external force measured by the sensor exceeds a threshold.
Abstract:
A piece of furniture has an actuating arrangement for a flap of the piece of furniture. An actuating arm arrangement includes a lever arrangement for moving the flap and a main spring that acts in the closing direction (SR) to hold the flap closed. The piece of furniture also has an ejecting device for ejecting the flap in the opening direction (OR) by overpressing the flap in the closing direction (SR). At least one support spring acts in the opening direction (OR) and is separate from the ejecting device, and supports the ejecting motion of the ejecting device. At least in an overpressed closed position (US), the spring forces (A, U) are together greater than the closing force (Z) which acts on the flap and which is provided by the main spring acting in the closing direction (SR).
Abstract:
A hinge assembly includes a housing, an arm and at least one spring. A damping device includes a damper having a piston rod, a maintaining member secured in the housing and an adjustment member. The adjustment member is movably connected to the maintaining member and has a protruded portion located corresponding to the piston rod of the damper. When the adjustment member is moved to a first position relative to the maintaining member, the protruded portion of the adjustment member is located toward the piston rod of the damper, so that the piston rod contacts the protruded portion and retracts to perform damping function. When the adjustment member is moved to a second position relative to the maintaining member, the protruded portion of the adjustment member is moved away from the piston rod of the damper, and no damping function is available.
Abstract:
A window opening control assembly that includes a first member for attachment to one of a sash or a window frame. The first member includes a locking assembly. The window opening control assembly further includes a second member for attachment to the other of the sash or the window frame. The second member includes a flexible element that extends to the first member. The flexible element is secured by the locking assembly such that the flexible element is fed from the second member as the second member is moved away from the first member until the flexible element is anchored within the second element and the second element is correspondingly restrained from moving further away from the first member. The locking assembly is selectively unlocked to permit removal of the flexible element from the locking assembly and permit continued movement of the second member away from the first member.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a clutch assembly (8) for providing selective engagement with a rotatable shaft, in particular for selecting between manual and powered driving of an output drive such as a door, shutter or gate. The clutch assembly (8) comprises a stop (16) arranged to rotate with the shaft (18), a cam (20) arranged to move relative to the shaft (18), and a follower (24) arranged to rotate around the shaft (18) and axially movable along the shaft in and out of engagement with the stop (16). The follower (24) is operatively associated with the cam (20) so that movement of the follower relative to the cam brings the follower into engagement with the stop (16) by axial movement, so causing rotation of the shaft (18).
Abstract:
A door closer capable of realizing self-control positioning has a cylindrical housing, a piston, a spring and a pull rod; the piston is built in the cylindrical housing and connected and fastened with one end of the pull rod; the pull rod is sheathed in the spring, and the two end parts of the spring respectively are in contact with a sealing lid of the piston and the cylindrical housing; the door closer further has a self-control positioning mechanism having a cylindrical outer sleeve a control part and a locking part; the cylindrical outer sleeve is connected and fastened with the cylindrical housing; the control part and the locking part are linked by a clutch and joined together; the locking part and the pull rod are linked by a clutch, and the pull rod is provided with a series of grooves which can be clasped with the locking part.
