    摘要: An interface module comprises a base defining a planar sliding surface for a male contact element, a connector housing formed of an electrically insulating material and movably received in a receptacle of the base, a contact received in the connector housing and arranged above the planar sliding surface, and a spring disposed opposite the contact in a direction perpendicular to the sliding surface. The connector housing has an insertion opening adapted to receive the male contact element. The contact has a contact leg projecting below a planar supporting surface for the male contact element. The spring is adapted to elastically abut against an underside of the male contact element in an assembled state. The male contact element is received within the insertion opening of the connector housing and the contact leg abuts a contact surface on an upper side of the male contact element in the assembled state.

    摘要: The invention relates to a sealing enclosure and a sealing assembly comprising the sealing enclosure and a mating enclosure as well as a method to connect both. The sealing enclosure loosely receives a connector within a connector volume so that the connector, which may be of a standard type used in electronic or optic data transmission, may be displaced within a plug face at the forward end of the connector volume. Thus, the connector may compensate variations in the position of a mating connector with respect to the mating enclosure. Moreover, the sealing enclosure allows to seal off the connector volume and engage the sealing enclosure with a mating enclosure in a single motion. This is affected by having a cable seal interposed between an inner body and an outer body. If the outer body is moved forward to engage the mating connector, the cable seal is squeezed between the cable and the inner body sealing off the connector volume at the rearward end of the inner body.

    摘要: Electrical connector assembly including an electrical connector having signal contacts and ground contacts that are coupled to a connector housing and disposed along a mounting side of the connector housing. The electrical connector assembly also includes a contact organizer that is positioned along the mounting side of the connector housing. The contact organizer has signal windows and ground passages extending therethrough that are defined by respective inner surfaces of the contact organizer. The ground contacts engage the inner surfaces of the ground passages when the contact organizer is held in a pre-loaded position away from the mounting side. The contact organizer moves to a seated position against the mounting side when the electrical connector is mounted to the circuit board. Each of the signal contacts is surrounded by an air gap that exists between the signal contact and the inner surface of the corresponding signal window.
