    摘要: The present invention relates generally to the field of molecular biology and concerns a method for enhancing various economically important yield-related traits in plants. More specifically, the present invention concerns a method for enhancing various economically important yield-related traits in plants relative to control plants, by increasing expression in a plant of a nucleic acid sequence encoding a Yield-Enhancing Polypeptide (YEP). The YEP may be a Class I TCP or a CAH3 or a Clayata 1 (CLV1) polypeptide with a non-functional C-terminal domain. The present invention also concerns plants having increased expression of a nucleic acid sequence encoding a YEP, which plants have enhanced yield-related traits in plants relative to control plants. The invention also provides constructs useful in the methods of the invention.

According to one method, user-defined criteria for identifying sensitive data within user-entered input sequences that include sensitive data and padding data are received. A user-entered input sequence that includes sensitive data and padding data is received in response to the request for sensitive data. Sensitive data is identified within the user-entered input sequence using the user-defined criteria. The identified sensitive data is provided to the requesting agent in response to the request for sensitive data.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus are described for a data link control layer of a communication modem in which data movement functionality is implemented in hardware. In one embodiment, a data link layer comprises software, memory and hardware. The software comprises a processor configured to receive control signaling from a host device and provide control information to the hardware. The hardware comprises an outbound memory manager configured to receive data from the host device, determine locations in the memory for the data, store the data in the memory, determine which of the data is to be forwarded to a physical layer during a given transmit period, and forward the data to the physical layer. In preferred embodiments, the modem is a high performance modem designed for the terminals of a wireless local area network having multiple data flows, segmentation and reassembly, encryption, automatic repeat request, and quality of service requirements.

    摘要: A tracking device is provided. A position determiner is configured to determine a position of the tracking device. The tracking device has first and second operating modes, the first operating mode being in response to at least the absence of a data communications link with an external wireless node, the second operating mode being in response to at least the presence of communication with an external wireless node. In the first operating mode, the tracking device periodically determines its position from the position determiner and maintains a position history of the tracking device. In the second operating mode, the tracking device reduces the operations of the position determiner relative to the first operating mode. In association with the tracking device transitioning from the first operating mode to the second operating mode, the tracking device wirelessly transmits the position history.
