    Abstract: An aircraft storage bin that includes an upper housing, and a bucket pivotally connected to the upper housing that cooperates with the upper housing to define a bin interior. The bucket includes a bottom, a front edge and first and second opposing side walls extending upwardly from the bottom and pivots about a pivot axis with respect to the upper housing between an open position and a closed position. When the storage bin is installed in an aircraft, a first horizontal distance is defined between a first vertical line that extends through the pivot axis and the front edge of the bucket when the bucket is in the closed position, and a second horizontal distance is defined between the first vertical line and the front edge of the bucket when the bucket is in the open position. The first horizontal distance is greater than the second horizontal distance.

    Abstract: An aircraft storage bin that includes an upper housing and a bucket movable with respect to the upper housing between a closed position and an open position. The upper housing and the bucket cooperate to define a bin interior. The bucket includes a bottom and first and second opposing side walls. The bottom of the bucket includes an outer surface, an inner surface, a front edge, and first and second protrusions protruding into the bin interior. The first protrusion defines a first luggage engaging surface and the second protrusion defines a second luggage engaging surface. The first protrusion includes an inner surface and an outer surface that defines a channel. The channel includes at least a portion of a latch button assembly disposed therein. The first and second cables extend outwardly from the latch button assembly and through the channel. The bucket includes a cover further partially defining the channel.

    Abstract: A toilet module attachment assembly that includes a retainer member that is adapted to be secured to a wall and a seal member. The retainer member includes a wall attachment flange and a press fit portion extending generally inwardly from the wall attachment flange. When the retainer member is secured to a wall a channel is defined between the wall and the press fit portion. The seal member includes a receiving portion having a groove defined therein and a bulge portion that is received in the channel of the retainer member.

The bucket is pivotable downwardly between a closed position and an open position and also can be positioned in an intermediate open position between the open and closed positions. When a downward force greater than the spring force is placed on the bucket, the bucket is configured to move from the intermediate open position to the open position.

    Abstract: A module for mounting within a ceiling panel assembly. The module includes an upper mounting frame that includes a main body portion that defines a central opening, a lower mounting frame that is at least partially received in the central opening of the upper mounting frame, and a latch assembly. The main body portion of the upper mounting frame includes a flange extending outwardly therefrom. The lower mounting frame is pivotable with respect to the upper mounting frame between a first position and a second position.
