The present invention relates to organic electroluminescent compounds represented by Chemical Formula 1 or 2, a process for preparing the same, and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) which comprises, as a luminescent region interposed between an anode and a cathode, at least one compound (s) selected from those represented by Chemical Formula 1 or 2, and at least one compound selected from anthracene derivatives, benz[a]anthracene derivatives and naphthacene derivatives. Provided are a novel compound for an organic electronic material and an organic electroluminescent device using the same. The compound for an organic electronic material according to the present invention has high electron transport efficiency, thereby preventing crystallization at the time manufacturing of a device, and allows a layer to be easily formed, thereby improving current characteristics of the device, and thus an OLED device having a lowered driving voltage and improved power efficiency as well as superior luminous efficiency and lifespan characteristics as compared with the existing material can be manufactured.

More specifically, the invention relates to organic electroluminescent compounds containing an anthracenyl group or an aryl group having an anthracenyl substituent m the aryl ring of fluorene or indenofluorene, as a blue electroluminescent material in an organic electroluminescent layer. The electroluminescent compounds according to the invention exhibit high luminous efficiency and excellent life property, so that an OLED device having very good operation lifetime can be prepared therefrom.
