Abstract:
A digital transmission apparatus and a method thereof and a digital reception apparatus are provided. A frame body processor converts incoming data and outputs a frame body, a system information generator generates system information, which is necessary for processing the data at a reception apparatus, by using a different processing method from the frame body processing method of the frame body processor, a frame generator multiplexes data of the frame body, a header of the frame, and the system information, thereby generating a frame, and a signal processor up-coverts a signal of the frame and transmits the signal to the reception apparatus.
Abstract:
Pre-purchase and post-purchase item information provision methods and systems using an RFID technology and computer readable storage media storing programs for executing the methods are provided. A pre-purchase item information provision method for a radio frequency identification system according to the present invention includes transmitting, if a mobile reader is detected by a local server installed in a salesroom, a certificate containing information on a location of an object information service server and an authentication value to the mobile reader; transmitting, at the mobile reader, a query requesting an item ID to a tag attached to a target item; transmitting, at the tag, a item ID information generated by encrypting the item ID using the authentication value to the mobile reader; transmitting, at the mobile reader, the item ID information and the authentication value to the object information service server; and transmitting, at the object information service server, data retrieved in a database in correspondence to the item ID, the data being retrieved when the authentication value exists in the database. The item information provision method and system of the present invention can guarantee reliability of information on an item in the pre-purchase state and prevent the information from being eavesdropped in both the pre-purchase and post-purchase states. Also, the item information provision method and system can prevent the tag ID from being tracked, thereby protecting purchaser's privacy, preventing the tag from being forged, and improving computation efficiency.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an environmentally friendly, simple and economic process for producing xylose. The process comprises the steps of: a) countercurrently extracting tropical fruit biomass by hydrolysis with sulfuric acid to obtain a high-concentration xylose extract; b) adjusting the extract to a pH of 1.5-2.5 and decolorizing and filtering the pH-adjusted extract; c) desalting the filtrate in an electrodialysis device; and d) recycling a waste sulfuric acid solution recovered from step c), to step a), and concentrating and directly recovering the desalted filtrate to obtain xylose crystals.
Abstract:
A display device may have a plurality of pixels of a first group connected to a plurality of first gate lines and first common voltage lines and a plurality of pixels of a second group connected to a plurality of second gate lines and second common voltage lines. The display device drives the first common voltage lines and the second common voltage lines in synchronization with a first clock signal; and drives the plurality of first gate lines and the plurality of second gate lines in synchronization with a second clock signal. I-th first and second common voltage lines (i is a positive integer) are driven to one of a first common voltage and a common reference voltage, and (i+1)-th first and second common voltage lines are driven to one of a second common voltage and the common reference voltage.
Abstract:
A method of authenticating a Personal Network Entity (PNE) is provided. The method includes transmitting a PNE serial number (SNPNE) to a CPNS (Converged Personal Network Service) server by a Personal Network GateWay (PN GW); storing an authentication value chain of a PNE transmitted from the CPNS server and an inherent assignment key (TKPNE) that is secret information of a corresponding PNE; encrypting a selected authentication value from among the authentication value chain with the inherent assignment key of the corresponding PNE to transmit the encrypted authentication value to the corresponding PNE and storing the encrypted authentication value in the corresponding PNE; and performing an authentication procedure between the corresponding PNE and the CPNS server by using the encrypted authentication value stored in the PNE.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a new compound and an organic electronic diode using the same. The compound according to the present invention may be used as hole injection, hole transport, electron injection and transport, and light emitting materials in an organic light emitting diode and an organic electronic diode, and the organic electronic diode according to the present invention exhibits excellent efficiency, driving voltage, and life-span properties.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an acoustic signal detector for detecting a target with moving in water. The acoustic signal detector may include a body having a front portion, the front portion having a cross section which becomes gradually narrow and an end formed to have a plane. The plane may be perpendicular to a moving direction of the acoustic signal detector. The acoustic signal detector may further include a plurality of sensor arrays configured to generate sound and detect sound returned by being reflected by a target. The plurality of sensor arrays may be mounted on a side surface of the front portion and on the plane.
Abstract:
An ice detecting apparatus for a refrigerator having an ice maker includes an ice detecting sensor which determines whether or not an ice storage container which receives and stores ice made by the ice maker is full or nearly full of ice based on pulses transmitted from and received by transmitting and receiving units. The ice detecting sensor includes a transmitting unit to transmit one or more pulses and a receiving unit to detect the pulses transmitted from the transmitting unit. A controller is operably coupled to the transmitting and receiving units to determine whether the storage container is full or nearly full based on pulses detected by the receiving unit among one or more pulses transmitted by the transmitting unit. The controller also determines whether or not external light has been introduced into the ice maker based on the pulses detected by the receiving unit.
Abstract:
An ice maker comprises a tray accommodating water to make ice, a first control box (200) installed at a side of the tray, the first control box (200) accommodating a predetermined part of a mechanism unit driving the ice maker; and a second control box (300) accommodating the other part of the mechanism unit which is electrically connected with the part of the mechanism unit accommodated in the first control part.
Abstract:
An ice making apparatus is provided. When an ice full detecting arm is not returned to an initial position by being caught on ice filled in the ice bank, it is determined that the ice bank is fully filled with the ice. Since the ice full detecting arm does not rotate when it is caught by the ice of the ice bank, the damage of the ice full detecting arm can be prevented.
