    摘要: The present invention relates to a polynucleotide that is active to an acetyl glutamate synthase and acetyl ornithinase which are associated with ornithine or arginine biosynthesis from Corynebacterium glutamicum. The present invention also relates to a polypeptide encoded by said polynucleotide, a recombinant vector comprising said polynucleotide, to a transformant obtained by introducing said recombinant vector to a host microorganism for producing L-ornithine or L-arginine, and transforming the recombinant vector, and to a method for producing L-ornithine or L-arginine by culturing said transformant. The activity of the transformant of the present invention to an acetyl glutamate synthase and acetyl ornithinase is increased as compared to an intrinsic activity, and thus L-ornithine or L-arginine can be produced, at a high yield rate, from the transformant of the present invention.

    摘要: A method for producing L-threonine using a microorganism is provided. In the method, the threonine dehydratase (tdc) gene existing in the genomic DNA of the microorganism is partially deactivated using a recombination technique. For a microorganism strain with enhanced activity of threonine operon-containing enzymes and the phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (ppc) gene, the tdc gene engaged in one of the four threonine metabolic pathways is specifically deactivated, thereby markedly increasing the yield of L-threonine.

    摘要: An electrostatic chuck (ESC) for a wafer which directs a cooling gas to predetermined cooling areas of the wafer mounted on the chuck. Ring type sealing members divide the mounted wafer into the predetermined cooling areas and the predetermined cooling areas are independently supplied with a helium cooling gas. Each of the predetermined cooling areas is supplied through a separate conduit system wherein each conduit system has a single inlet into the chuck and a plurality of outlets which emit the helium gas into a respective one of the predetermined cooling areas. The plurality of outlets for each predetermined cooling area may communicate with the inlet via a respective plurality of branch conduits or via one or more branch conduits and a peripheral conduit which connects the plurality of outlets. By independently controlling the predetermined cooling areas, temperature variations on the wafer are effectively controlled.

    摘要: An L-threonine-producing Escherichia coli strain and a method for producing the same are provided. The Escherchia coli strain contains chromosomal DNA with inactivated metJ gene. Therefore, expression repression of threonine biosynthesis genes by a metJ gene product is prevented, thereby producing a high concentration of threonine. Further, a high concentration of L-threonine can be produced in high yield using the method.
