Abstract:
There is provided a charging apparatus including a connection unit to which a device is to be connected, a charging unit for charging the device connected to the connection unit, a history acquisition unit for acquiring a history of content use stored in the device, a timing prediction unit for predicting a timing of use of the device based on the history of content use acquired by the history acquisition unit, and a charge control unit for controlling the charging unit such that the device connected to the connection unit becomes fully charged at a timing suitable for the timing predicted by the timing prediction unit.
Abstract:
The present application relates to apparatus and methods for burn-in and other diagnostics performed on integrated circuits. In one embodiment, the invention includes a plurality of sockets, each to hold an integrated circuit (IC), and coupling power to the respective IC from a remote power supply, a plurality of voltage detectors, each coupled to a socket to sense the voltage of the power coupled to the respective IC, and a plurality of remote voltage regulators, each coupled between the power supply and a respective socket, to receive the sensed voltage from the respective voltage detector and to adjust the voltage of the respective coupled power in accordance therewith.
Abstract:
Second digital information serving as copyright protection information can be stably and reliably read without any effect of a defect or pit missing on a disk-shaped recording medium. The second digital information is recorded onto a disk-shaped recording medium by wobbling a pit sequence recorded as a first signal. The second digital information is recorded so that a plurality of bits constituting the second digital information are allocated in a unit period of an identical sync signal contained in the first signal. During playback, the plurality of bits constituting the recorded second digital information are read a plurality of times every unit period of the sync signal, and information of the read bits is then integrated. Thus, information from a large number of wobbled pits across unit periods of a plurality of sync signals can be integrated to determine the bit values.
Abstract:
An optical fiber connector includes an inner housing and a fixing module sleeved in the inner housing. The fixing module includes a support member and a fastening assembly fastened to the support member. The support member has a fixing portion, and the fixing portion defines a first restricting groove. The fastening assembly includes a fastener, a fixing member, an elastic member, and a pressing member. The fixing member defines a second restricting groove. The fastener sleeves on the fixing member and the elastic member. The fastener engages with the support member, and then the elastic member is resisted between the fixing member and the fastener, thereby generating an elastic force to drive the fixing member to abut against the fixing portion. The pressing member slidably engages with the support member and resists the fixing member.
Abstract:
Three dimensional integrated circuits including semiconductive organic materials are described. In some embodiments, the three dimensional integrated circuits include one or more electronic components that include a semiconductive region formed of one or more semiconductive organic materials. The electronic components of the three dimensional integrated circuits may also include insulating regions formed from organic insulating materials, and conductive regions form from conductive materials. The three dimensional integrated circuits may be formed by an additive manufacturing process such as three dimensional printing. Apparatus and methods for producing and testing three dimensional integrated circuits are also described.
Abstract:
A thermal interface unit includes a pedestal, a first contact surface below the pedestal to interface with a first die and a flat spring to enable the first contact surface to adapt to a variable height of a first die of a multi-chip package (MCP).
