Abstract:
A test apparatus and method of testing a DUT are described. The apparatus includes a receiver and transmitter path each having a pair of switches that switch between a bypass position and a direct position. The bypass position is used for low frequency signals communicated through the apparatus. The direct position allows higher frequency signals to be double converted by upconversion to an IF signal and bandpass filtered before being downconverted to a predetermined frequency. Both variable and fixed LO signals are used to convert the double converted signals so that the same IF may be used independent of the higher frequency signal received or transmitted. Bandpass filtering is applied before and after amplification of the IF signal. Lowpass filtering before and after the double conversion use LPFs of different cutoff frequencies.

Abstract:
Second digital information serving as copyright protection information can be stably and reliably read without any effect of a defect or pit missing on a disk-shaped recording medium. Second digital information is recorded onto a disk-shaped recording medium by wobbling a pit sequence recorded as a first signal. The second digital information is recorded so that a plurality of bits constituting the second digital information are allocated in a unit period of an identical sync signal contained in the first signal. During playback, the plurality of bits constituting the recorded second digital information are read a plurality of times every unit period of the sync signal, and information of the read bits is then integrated. Thus, information from a large number of wobbled pits across unit periods of a plurality of sync signals can be integrated to determine the bit values.

An adapter for an optical fiber connector includes a fixing base and two terminals. The fixing base has a main portion and two assembly portions formed on the main portion. The terminal has a positioning portion, a connecting portion, and an inserting portion. The connecting portion and the inserting portion extend from opposite ends of the positioning portion, and the positioning portion is positioned in the assembly portion of the fixing base.
Abstract:
An optical fiber assembly includes an optical fiber connector, and an optical fiber adapter mating with the optical fiber connector. The optical fiber connector includes a fiber joining assembly, a first sealing member, an elastic member, and a housing assembly sleeved on the fiber joining assembly. The elastic member is slidably sleeved in the housing assembly with two ends of the elastic member resisting with the housing assembly. The optical fiber adapter includes a base board, a fixing seat protruding out from the base board, and a second sealing member sleeved on the outer surface of the fixing seat. The optical fiber adapter further includes two latching arms protruding out from the base board positioned at opposite sides of the fixing seat. The fixing seat axially defines an assembling groove for receiving the fiber joining assembly of the optical fiber connector.
