The mounting apparatus comprises a plurality of posts detachably attached to the circuit board adjacent the chip socket, a support frame detachably attached to the heat dissipation module, and a plurality of connecting members respectively detachably attached to the posts. The support frame is attached to the connecting members by a plurality of fasteners, thereby securing the heat dissipation module to the circuit board and suspending the heat dissipation module over the chip socket. The mounting apparatus is provided for two mounting positions, one for during shipment of the circuit board and heat dissipation module, and the other one for operation of same.

The said amorphous alloy powder is made by atomization method and a magnetic powder core comprises a molded article of mixture of the said alloy powder and an insulating material. A method of making the amorphous alloy powder core includes the steps of screening, insulating, compacting, annealing and spray painting.

A fixture for testing a mid-plane of a blade server includes a base board, a fixture unit and a carrier enclosure. The fixture unit is fixed on the base board, the fixture unit includes a receiving location for mounting the mid-plane thereon. The carrier enclosure is slideably attached on the base board and docked with the mid-plane. The fixture for testing a mid-plane of a blade server uses two separated modules to assist to test the mid-plane, there is no need to remove all modules from the blade server, whereupon simplifies the attachment and removing mid-plane procedure.
