The present invention is directed to an objective lens having an optical surface having power which is not negative. The objective lens is a single lens and is formed such that a flat portion which is provided at an outer peripheral portion and perpendicular to the optical axis is closer to a disc surface than the position of the top of an exit-side surface of the objective lens and such that the rate of change in sag of the exit-side surface is continuous across the entire region.

    摘要: An optical system for optical pickup, which optical system is used for performing recording, reproducing, and/or erasing of information on an optical recording medium and has a simple configuration, is provided. An optical pickup device 1 includes a collimator lens system 23, a beam expander 33, and an objective lens system 34 that includes an S-SIL element 27b. The beam expander 33 includes three lens elements 33a to 33c. By moving in an optical axis direction, the two lens elements 33a and 33b included in the beam expander 33 adjust a focal point of a spot formed within an optical recording medium 28, and compensate a spherical aberration caused by the difference in depth between recording layers.

    摘要: An objective lens element that can suppress occurrence of an aberration is disclosed. Sawtooth-like diffraction structures having different height and cycles (pitches) are provided on an inner part R21 and an outer part R22, respectively. A curved surface M211 extending at an intermediate level of recesses and projections of the sawtooth-like diffraction structure provided on the inner part R21, and a curved surface M212 extending at an intermediate level of recesses and projections of the sawtooth-like diffraction structure provided on the outer part R22 are smoothly connected to each other. Even when wavelength of the light source and/or the environmental temperature change, a phase shift does not occur between the inner part R21 and the outer part R22, and a decrease in diffraction efficiency and occurrence of an aberration can be suppressed.

    摘要: Provides an objective lens, an optical head and an optical disc apparatus (drive) capable of compensating for various types of aberrations including wavelength changes for a plurality of types of optical discs including high density optical discs, DVDs and CDs with a good wavelength dispersion compensation ability and thus capable of providing good recording or reproduction characteristics.The objective lens according to the present invention includes a first lens and a second lens substantially in close contact with each other such that optical axes thereof match each other, and acts as a convex lens as a whole. Each lens includes a central portion including the optical axis and a peripheral portion located in a periphery of the central portion. The central portion of the first lens acts as a convex lens; and the central portion of the second lens acts as a concave lens. Where the refractive index of the first lens at d line (wavelength: 587.56 nm) is nd1, the Abbe constant of the first lens represented using the refractive indices at d line, F line (wavelength: 486.13 nm) and C line (wavelength: 656.27 nm) is νd1, the refractive index of the second lens at d line is nd2, and the Abbe constant of the second lens represented using the refractive indices at d line, F line and C line is νd2, the objective lens fulfills nd1>nd2 and νd1>νd2.

    摘要: A multilayer wiring board comprising at least two double-sided wiring boards which comprises an insulating substrate and conductive metal wiring patterns on both surfaces of the insulating substrate. The wiring patterns on the insulating substrate are connected through a conductive metal in a through hole through the insulating substrate. The double-sided wiring boards are electrically connected by joining of low-melting conductive metal layers on connection terminals at the mating surfaces of the double-sided wiring boards. The at least two double-sided wiring boards are bonded by means of a polyimide adhesive resin that is selectively applied by screen printing on the double-sided wiring boards other than on the connection terminals. The wiring boards are reliably laminated, and the multilayer wiring board has a reliable electrical connection between the wiring boards.
