    Abstract: A mounting mechanism is disclosed. The mounting mechanism includes a chassis with an anchor member, a slide rail with a mounting slot defined therein, and a retaining member slidablly attached to the slide rail. The mounting slot is adapted to receive the anchor member. An inclined portion extends from the slide rail. A first end of the retaining member is pivotable attached to the slide rail. A second end of the retaining member retains the anchor member in the mounting slot of the slide rail. The retaining member is rotated to slide along the inclined portion of the slide rail to urge the retaining member to move away from the slide rail, to disengage the anchor member from the second end of the retaining member.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a rigid-flexible printed circuit boards includes following steps. Firstly, a flexible substrate is provided. Secondly, at least one slit is defined in the flexible substrate. Thirdly, a rigid substrate having a structure corresponding to the flexible substrate is provided. Fourthly, the flexible substrate is laminated to the rigid substrate to obtain a laminated substrate. Fifthly, part of the rigid substrate is removed. Sixthly, the laminated substrate is cut along an imaginary boundary line to remove waste portion of the laminated substrate. Thus, a rigid-flexible printed circuit board is obtained.

    Abstract: A concise electronic timer is composed of an adjustable resistor, a supercapacitor and an electromagnetic relay. After a main power is turned off, electricity supplied from the capacitor to the relay will extend or actuate the operation of a load until the discharge of the capacitor is over. Incorporating the resistor with the other two elements, the discharge time of the capacitor can be altered linearly by the resistor, therefore, a linear arrangement of delay extension and time of activation is attained. The simple, compact and economical timer can be used for indoor and outdoor illumination, monitoring security systems, as well as actuating systems.
