摘要: A system and method may include receiving, by multiple vessel nodes, RF signals communicated from a target node coupled to a target object. A range measurement between respective vessel nodes and the target node may be determined. A range measurement from at least two of the vessel nodes may be received. Relative geographic coordinates of the vessel and the target node using the range measurements received from the at least two vessel nodes may be determined. The relative geographic coordinates of the vessel and target object may be determined.

摘要: A marine vessel advisory system may be configured to calculate and provide operational information that show fuel consumption savings based on adjustment of vessel speed and/or heading. In an embodiment, the advisory system may operate real-time to collect operational and/or environmental conditions information to be used to calculate alternative operational performance of the marine vessel that will save fuel and reduce emissions. The calculations may include a simulation, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence to determine a speed and/or heading of the marine vessel that will reduce fuel consumption. The advisory system may display the computed information for the operator, and the operator may elect to switch to the alternative operating parameters (e.g., slower speed). In an embodiment, the advisory system may interact directly with a marine vessel system and automatically cause the marine vessel system to adjust operating parameters based on computed operating parameters that saves fuel and reduces emissions.

摘要: An advisory system of a vessel that monitors variables of a vessel system inclusive of systems and subsystems that are used to operate the vessel. The advisory system may use machine-learning to learn from an operator (i) whether or not two variables are related to one another, and (ii) likelihood that a variable will reach a threshold, and, optionally, time until reaching the threshold. The system may receive operator feedback (i) to indicate whether the two variables are related to one another, and (ii) whether a behavior of the variable is normal or not normal. Thereafter, if a determination that the same two variables are related to one another and behaving in a similar manner, provide notification to the operator of the behavior. In response to determining that the variable is behaving (e.g., trending) in a similar manner that is not normal, providing a notification to the operator.

摘要: A marine vessel, system, and process provides for reducing or eliminating fuel consumption and emissions of marine vessels. System and method for charging an electricity storage element of an energy storage system of a floating marine vessel may include applying a power source from a marine platform to an electrical power bus of the floating vessel to charge the electricity storage element. A power generator of the marine vessel configured to supply electrical power to the power bus may be configured from an ON state to an OFF state.

摘要: A machine and process for remotely controlling a vessel. The system may include a land-based computing system configured to communicate control signals via a communications system that communicates the control signals to the vessel and a controller network on the vessel configured to control at least certain functions of the vessel. The controller network may further be configured to receive the control signals from the land-based computing system. The controller may include a switch including an input port and multiple output ports. A remote control computing device may be configured to control the vessel via at least one other computing device. A one-way Ethernet cable may be communicatively coupled between one of the output ports of the switch and the remote control computing device. The control signals may be received by the switch being communicated to the remote control computing device via the one-way Ethernet cable.

摘要: An optically clear biofouling resistant coating compositions specially formulated for very high light transmission and more particularly coating compositions which can be applied to marine instruments and sensors. The compositions provide a biofouling resistant coating on the surface of the marine instruments and sensors which prevents underwater organisms from adhering and growing on the surfaces of the structures over a long period of time.
