摘要: The invention relates to a photocathode having a structure that permits a decrease in the radiant sensitivity at low temperatures is suppressed so that the S/N ratio is improved. In the photocathode, a light absorbing layer is formed on the upper layer of a substrate. An electron emitting layer is formed on the upper layer of the light absorbing layer. A contact layer having a striped-shape is formed on the upper layer of the electron emitting layer. A surface electrode composed of metal is formed on the surface of the contact layer. The interval between bars in the contact layer is adjusted so as to become 0.2 μm or more but 2 μm or less.

摘要: A photoelectric emission surface which is excellent in stability and reproducibility of photoelectric conversion characteristics and has a structure capable of obtaining a high photosensitivity is provided. A predetermined voltage is applied between an upper surface electrode and a lower surface electrode by a battery. Upon application of this voltage, a p-n junction formed between a contact layer and an electron emission layer is reversely biased. A depletion layer extends from the p-n junction into the photoelectric emission surface, and an electric field is formed in the electron emission layer and a light absorbing layer in a direction for accelerating photoelectrons. When incident light is absorbed in the light absorbing layer to excite photoelectrons, the photoelectrons are accelerated by the electric field toward the emission surface. The photoelectrons obtain an energy upon this electric field acceleration, and are transited, in the electron emission layer, to a conduction band at a higher energy level, and emitted into a vacuum.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a door weather strip in which the corner portions thereof are integrally formed with straight portions thereof. In order to obtain a predetermined sealing interference, the cross sectional shape of the corner portions of hollow sealing portion and the lip seal of the weather strip is arranged to be longer than that in the straight portion. Alternatively, the sealing portion is raised as to have a predetermined shape when the corners are formed. Said formed shapes are solidified by vulcanization after the weather strip has been plastically deformed before the vulcanization.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a bottom valve seat for use in a hydraulic damper is provided including the steps of: punching out a circular blank from a flat plate of a given thickness to prepare a circular blank having given dimensions; drawing the blank into a cup-shaped work having a circumferential flange portion; forming a cylindrical wall in the cup-shaped work thus provided, with the wall having a given length; and pressing the central portion of a bottom portion of the cup-shaped work downwards or internally, thereby forming an annular flat portion along the circumferential edge of the bottom portion; cutting the flange portion into given dimensions; and punching a through hole in the flange portion. In this bottom valve seat, the flange portion has a flat surface and at least one oil passage is provided in the portion of the valve seat, which is opposite to the bottom portion.

摘要: An information processing system stores image files formed by an image forming apparatus in a desired storage position in an information processing terminal through simple operations. The information processing terminal, in accordance with an instruction to incorporate an image file, sends to the image forming apparatus information that includes at least identification information by which to identify a storage destination for the image file, a file name for the data file corresponding to a selected icon and storage position information that indicates the storage position in a folder of a directory in the storage destination in which the data file is to be stored. The image forming apparatus registers the information, and causes a selection key for the registered information to be displayed. A new selection key is created for information to be displayed when new settings information is registered based on the information sent from the information processing terminal.
