Abstract: A bed assembly includes a bed having a head end, a foot end and a frame which is connected between the head end and the foot end. A water-proof pad is located between the head end and the foot end. The water-proof pad can be tightened, loosened and movable up and down. A bed board unit is pivotably connected to two sides of the frame so that the bed board unit is opened and closed when needed. An inflatable tub or bedpan is located beneath the bed so that when the bed board unit is opened, the patient can use the inflatable tub or the bedpan and does not have to be removed from the bed.

Abstract: Described herein are antimicrobial nanoclay comprising two or more cationic antimicrobials. The nanoclay is a phyllosilicate clay and the two or more cationic antimicrobials are individually selected from the group consisting of a quaternary ammonium compound, a metal ion-containing, a cationic chelating agent, a cationic amino acid-based surfactant, a cationic antibiotic, and a cationic compound having a guanidine moiety. The two or more different antimicrobials are incorporated into the nanoclay by a cationic exchange process. Also described are methods for preparing such antimicrobial nanoclays. The antimicrobial nanoclays may be used for conferring antimicrobial activity to an article of manufacture and/or for providing antimicrobial activity to a surface.

Abstract: A ball combination module capable of detecting and regulating a posture pressure has the requirement of regulating individual independent ball pressures and lifting and lowering functions and mainly includes one or multiple sets of pressure controlling ball modules. Each pressure controlling ball module is connected to a cylinder connected to an external pressure source and is configured with an independent inflating/deflating electromagnetic valve set including a pressure-sensing intake control electromagnetic valve of controlling inflation, a deflation control electromagnetic valve of regulating deflation and a pressure sensor. The external pressure source has a pressure regulator providing a stable pressure gas source. A main gas supply conduit connected to multiple shunts provides inflation and deflation for all the pressure controlling ball modules. The pressure controlling ball modules are combined to constitute a large-area support region and achieve the dot-like pressure regulating and lifting and lowering functions for the comprehensive single ball.

Abstract: Methods for synthesizing macroscale 3D heteroatom-doped carbon nanotube materials (such as boron doped carbon nanotube materials) and compositions thereof. Macroscopic quantities of three-dimensionally networked heteroatom-doped carbon nanotube materials are directly grown using an aerosol-assisted chemical vapor deposition method. The porous heteroatom-doped carbon nanotube material is created by doping of heteroatoms (such as boron) in the nanotube lattice during growth, which influences the creation of elbow joints and branching of nanotubes leading to the three dimensional super-structure. The super-hydrophobic heteroatom-doped carbon nanotube sponge is strongly oleophilic and can soak up large quantities of organic solvents and oil. The trapped oil can be burnt off and the heteroatom-doped carbon nanotube material can be used repeatedly as an oil removal scaffold. Optionally, the heteroatom-doped carbon nanotubes in the heteroatom-doped carbon nanotube materials can be welded to form one or more macroscale 3D carbon nanotubes.

Abstract: The present invention provides a liquid catalyzing system for aging a liquid, such as alcoholic liquid, vinegar and soy sauce.
