摘要: An illumination device includes a light source, a light conversion element with a front side, an optical element, and first and second optical interfaces, wherein (a) an outer surface of the optical element includes a first surface area extending obliquely to the front side, so that secondary light can be decoupled at the second optical interface from the optical element into the surrounding medium in a direction which has a smaller angle in relation to the normal of the front side than if the first surface area extended in parallel to the front side of the light conversion element, and/or (b) the outer surface includes a second surface area extending obliquely to the front side of the light conversion element, so that secondary light can be reflected at the second optical interface into the optical element with total reflection in a direction toward the normal of the front side.

摘要: A glass or glass-ceramic plate is provided that has two side faces, a thickness of between 2 mm and 6 mm, a circumferential edge face, a flatness less than or equal to 0.1%, and a region of a first face having a mean surface roughness of less than 0.5 μm and a standard deviation of the surface roughness of less than 0.1 μm. The mean surface roughness and the standard deviation are determined by measuring a roughness at nine points on the first face by measuring a line profile with a stylus device and with evaluation according to ISO 4827. The nine points are at least 5 cm apart from one another. The plate further includes a coating on two subregions of the region that are at least 3 cm apart from one another, where the coating has a raggedness in the subregions that differ by not more than 10%.

摘要: A thin glass substrate, as well as a method and an apparatus are provided. The glass substrate has a glass having first and second main surfaces and elongated elevations on one of the main surfaces. The elevations rise in a normal direction, have a longitudinal extent that is greater than two times a transverse extent, and have a height, on average, that is less than 100 nm, and with a transverse extent of the elevation smaller than 40 mm. The method includes melting a glass, hot forming the glass, and adjusting a viscosity of the glass so that for the viscosity η1 for a first stretch over a first distance of up to 1.5 m downstream of a flow rate control component and y1 indicating a second distance to a location immediately downstream the flow rate control component the equation lg η1(y1)/dPa·s=(lg η01/dPa·s+a1(y1)) applies.

摘要: A method is provided for scoring glasses. The method includes the steps of generating a deep crack in the glass along an intended separation line by exerting pressure onto the glass surface using a rigid scoring tool, wherein the scoring tool, by being pressed against the glass surface and due to the advancement force while introducing the deep crack generates a zone of elastic strain in the glass in a direction along the glass surface and perpendicular to the separation line, which extends in an arc in the plane defined by the separation line perpendicular to the glass surface such that one leg of the arc is located close to the contact point of the scoring tool on the glass surface and another leg is located inside the glass. The arc being open towards the advancement/advancement direction of the scoring tool.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a device and a method with which flat glasses with particularly uniform thickness can be obtained. The methods are drawing methods in which a glass ribbon is drawn. In the method an aperture is used which allows a defined very small slit between the glass ribbon and the aperture also in the case of a change of the position of the glass ribbon.

摘要: A bundle of tubular and/or rod-shaped glass articles is provided that includes a longest dimension, a plurality of layers (NL) of the glass articles, and a thread-like element. The longest dimension extends in a first direction. The glass articles in each layer are arranged side by side in a second direction. The plurality of layers are arranged side by side in a third direction. The first, second, and third directions being perpendicular to one another. The thread-like element is around two of the glass articles in at least one layer so that the two glass articles are spaced apart.
