A method of filling by weight containers having respective bottoms standing on a conveyor, including the steps of: grasping each container in order to separate it from the conveyor and to bring it up to a substance dispenser spout; weighing the container while it is held separated from the conveyor under the dispenser spout and while simultaneously filling it in order to reach a desired weight; and putting the container back onto the conveyor. In addition, an installation for performing the above method is provided.

A device for holding a container comprising a stationary jaw and a movable jaw mounted on the stationary jaw to be movable between a closed position for holding the container and an open position for releasing the container. A resilient element connecting the two jaws together to urge the movable jaw towards the closed position. The resilient element is a leaf spring having an end portion secured to the stationary jaw and an end portion secured to the movable jaw in order to carry the movable jaw. A container treatment installation is also provided including at least one such holder device.

A mold comprising at least two mold portions, at least one of which includes a vent opening out to the inside of the cavity and to the outside of the mold and presenting a flow section that is predetermined to enable air to be exhausted when the mold is closed. Said mold portion comprises at least two parts that extend over an entire dimension of the mold cavity and that are assembled together, the parts being held apart from each other by at least one spacer so as to define between them a gap that opens out to the inside of the cavity and to the outside of the mold in order to form the vent. A machine is provided for blow-molding articles from a strip of material. The machine has a mount with two frames mounted thereon. Each frame is connected to a movement actuator so as to be movable along a path of the strip between respective positions that are upstream and downstream relative to a travel direction of the strip through the machine. A pipe, a holder member, and a mold are mounted respectively on an item selected from the mount and the frames. A control unit is connected to the movement actuators to control them in such a manner as to generate a sequence of moving the guide pipe and the mold relative to the holder member and of opening and closing the mold in such a manner as to cause the strip to advance along the rectilinear path.

A device for transferring articles between a first machine implementing intermittent movement of the articles at a first predetermined pitch, and a second machine implementing continuous movement of the articles at a second predetermined pitch. The device includes a flexible conveyor extending around at least two pulleys so as to have at least one rectilinear segment facing a conveyor of the first machine and a rounded segment facing a conveyor of the second machine. The flexible conveyor of the device carries laterally-projecting article-handling members arranged at regular intervals in such a manner that the handling members are at a pitch corresponding to the first pitch in the rectilinear segment. The rounded segment has a radius such that the handling members are at a pitch corresponding to the second pitch in the rounded segment.

A plant for processing packaging sealing elements having a peripheral edge includes a processing area and a device for transporting the packaging sealing elements. The device includes a slide having two opposite longitudinal rims slidingly receiving two opposite portions of the peripheral edge of each sealing element, and a means for moving the sealing elements along the slide. The device includes at least one transverse blowing nozzle mounted in a hole of one of the rims of the slide in order to eject a flow of air towards the opposite rim. The transverse nozzle is associated with a control element for selectively authorising or interrupting the air supply of the transverse blowing nozzle. The slide has a first section upstream of the processing area, a second section in the processing area, and a third section downstream of the processing area. The transverse blowing nozzle is mounted on the second section.
