Abstract: A power end frame assembly for a reciprocating pump that includes a first and second end plate segment each including annular bearing support surfaces configured to support a crankshaft bearing assembly. At least one middle plate segment is disposed between the first and second end plate segments and includes an annular bearing support surface configured to support a crankshaft bearing assembly. The annular bearing support surfaces of the first and second end plate segments and the at least one middle plate segment each have a diameter and are coaxially aligned. The diameter of at least one of the first and second end plate segments is different from the diameter of the at least one middle plate segment to facilitate insertion and removal of the crankshaft bearing assembly from the power end frame assembly.

Abstract: A plug valve assembly has a valve body with an inlet and an outlet each defining a fluid passageway in fluid communication with a cavity defined within the valve body. The valve body further has a collar defining a service opening extending upward from the valve body. A plug with a spindle top and a plug body is disposed within the cavity. The plug has an opening that is operable to obstruct the fluid passageway when it is in a closed position and to connect the inlet to the outlet when it is in an open position. The spindle top of the plug has a hexagonal outer profile and a through opening and adaptable to engage with a variety of actuating devices. A threaded cap is removably engaged with the collar of the valve body and is operable to retain the plug within the valve body cavity.

Abstract: In some implementations, a powertrain for powering a fluid pump may include a power source configured to rotate a first drive shaft at an approximately constant speed. The powertrain may include a mechanical transmission. The mechanical transmission may include one or more gearboxes associated with a set of fixed gear ratios, a second drive shaft coupled to the first drive shaft, and a third drive shaft coupled to an input drive shaft of the fluid pump and configured to rotate the input drive shaft at variable speeds or with variable torque based on using different gear ratios from the set of fixed gear ratios. The powertrain may include a torque converter disposed between the first drive shaft and the second drive shaft to enable the first drive shaft to be coupled to the second drive shaft.

Abstract: A fluid cylinder for a fluid end section of a reciprocating pump includes a body having a pressure chamber and a plunger bore that fluidly communicates with the pressure chamber. The plunger bore includes a packing segment configured to hold packing. The fluid cylinder includes a sleeve received within the packing segment of the plunger bore. The sleeve is configured to hold a plunger within an internal passage of the sleeve such that the plunger is configured to reciprocate within the plunger bore during operation of the reciprocating pump. The fluid cylinder includes a retention mechanism secured within the plunger bore such that the retention mechanism is configured to retain the sleeve within the packing segment of the plunger bore.

Abstract: An assembly for actuating a gate valve. The assembly includes an actuator and a bonnet adapter and stem adapter. Abstract: A retainer nut assembly for a fluid end of a pump system includes a fastener with a generally cylindrical configuration, first and second ends, external threads configured to engage corresponding threads of a fluid end block, and a cavity formed at the first end. A suction cap is configured to sealingly fit to the fluid end block. A load piston is movably disposed in the cavity adjacent the suction cap. A bore is formed through the fastener in communication with the cavity and provided with hydraulic fluid. A pressure piston is movably disposed in the bore. A threaded passageway is formed through the fastener in communication with the bore and open to the second end. A locking bolt is disposed in the threaded passageway and, when inserted into the threaded passageway, contacts the pressure piston and generates fluid pressure on the load piston.
