摘要:
The present invention relates to new condensation resins formed from urea, formaldehyde and CH-acidic aldehydes, to processes for preparing them, and to use thereof.

Pharmaceutical compositions for treating neoplastic disorders and uses thereof are provided. Said pharmaceutical compositions comprise stabilized chlorite solutions (e.g. WFIO) and a fluoropyrimidine, 5-FU, or a 5-FU prodrug (e.g. capecitabine, doxifluridine, UFT, S-1, or BOF-A2). The use of the above stabilized chlorite solution in combination with a fluoropyrimidine dramatically improves the quality of life index (QOL) of a patient undergoing cancer chemotherapy. Cancers that can be treated include cancers of the pancreas, gastrointestinal, head, neck, and breast.
摘要:
Methods of determining clinical outcomes in patients suffering from a pathological condition or syndrome are provided. Levels of intracellular gene expression re measured from a clinical sample provided by the patient, and the levels are compared to reference levels. Deviations from reference levels are predictive of clinical outcomes, for example, disease progression or response to therapeutic intervention.

Isolated nucleic acid molecules encoding a novel protein, SKAP55, that interacts with the protein tyrosine kinase Fyn, are disclosed. SKAP55 protein has an apparent native molecular weight of 55 kDa, an isoelectric point of 4.3 and contains a pleckstrin homology (PH) domain and a src homology 3 (SH3) domain. In addition to isolated nucleic acids molecules encoding SKAP55 protein, the invention provides antisense nucleic acid molecules, recombinant expression vectors containing a nucleic acid molecule of the invention, host cells into which the expression vectors have been introduced and non-human transgenic animals carrying a SKAP55 transgene. The invention further provides isolated SKAP55 proteins and peptides, SKAP55 fusion proteins and anti-SKAP55 antibodies. Methods of using the SKAP55 compositions of the invention are also disclosed, including methods for detecting SKAP55 protein or mRNA in a biological sample, methods of modulating SKAP55 activity in a cell, and methods for identifying agents that modulate an interaction between SKAP55 and Fyn.

The present invention relates to novel and highly effective bispecific antibody fragments which recognize lymphocyte CD2 antigen and any variable tumor antigen. Moreover, the invention relates to two new monoclonal antibodies terms AICD2.M1 and AICD2.M2. A combination of these antibodies, whereby at least one of them is a bispecific antibody fragment, can be used successfully in tumor therapy and diagnostics.
