    摘要: A lubricating composition comprising: (a) a 2 mm2/s to about 12 mm2/s light neutral base oil; (b) 0 to 20 weight percent of a heavy neutral base oil or a brightstock with a viscosity of above about 12 mm2/s to about 40 mm2/s; and (c) at least one performance additive comprising: a polymeric thickener, a dispersant, an antiwear agent, a detergent or mixtures thereof, wherein the polymeric thickener when present has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of more than 8000 and is present in an amount to provide a total viscosity of the composition of about 12 mm2/s to about 29 mm2/s; the dispersant or detergent when present imparts basicity to said lubricating composition; and the composition has a total base number of at least about 10 mg KOH/g. The invention further provides a method of making the compositions and its use for lubricating an internal combustion engine.

    摘要: Source code of a graphical designer application may be generated from a definition of graphical elements that can be employed to develop graphical models using the graphical designer application, a definition of one or more object types that can be represented in graphical models developed using the graphical designer application, and a definition of a mapping between the one or more object types and the graphical elements. One or more of these definitions may be stored within a file formatted in accordance with a markup language such as SGML or XML. The graphical designer application may be customized and extended by modifying one or more of the definitions and regenerating the source code and/or by modifying the source code itself. One or more of the definitions may be generated based on a graphical designer template corresponding to a particular model domain.

    摘要: A method of lubricating a marine diesel 2-stroke engine comprising: (1) monitoring performance characteristics of said engine; (2) selecting a lubricating composition to modify the performance characteristics of the engine, wherein the lubricating composition is prepared by in-situ controlled blending of at least two different fluids, said fluids comprising: (i) a first fluid comprising an additive package with one or more overbased detergents, and optionally other performance additives; (ii) a second fluid comprising an additive package with one or more neutral detergents or overbased detergents, and optionally other performance additives, with the proviso that the first fluid has a ratio of Σ(wt % of overbased detergents)/Σ(wt % of all additives in the fluid) greater than the second fluid; and (iii) a third fluid comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity; and (3) supplying the lubricating composition of step (2) to the engine, with the proviso that the lubricating composition comprises at least one of the first fluid or the second fluid.
