Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for separating sound sources capable of learning distributions of corresponding sound sources based on the assumption that specific sound sources have specific distributions based on interchannel correlation parameter in audio signals providing space perception through a plurality of channels to separate an amount corresponding to energy contribution of the corresponding sound sources from mixture signals. Exemplary embodiments of the present invention can more precisely predict the channel distributions of the specific sound sources included in the input mixture signals and more accurately separate sound sources than a method for separating a sound source based on the channel according to the related art, under conditions that general channel distribution information of the specific sound sources are approximately modeled.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of recognizing an available channel in order to prevent channel occupation requirements from colliding with each other when one wireless channel is shared by plural terminals in a CSMA/CA mechanism using an IEEE 802.15.4 protocol slot, the method including: a first step of initializing a counter, CW, as 2, the CW being used for CCA which an attempt to perform is made before frame transmission; a second step of determining if a required channel is occupied; a third step of decreasing the CW by 1 when the channel is idle in the second step; a fourth step of re-determining if the channel is occupied; and a fifth step of, based on a determination result in the fourth step, determining if the CW is 1 when the channel is occupied.

An encoding apparatus for integrally encoding a speech signal and an audio signal, may include: a module selection unit to analyze a characteristic of an input signal and to select a first encoding module for encoding a first frame of the input signal; a speech encoding unit to encode the input signal according to a selection of the module selection unit and to generate a speech bitstream; an audio encoding unit to encode the input signal according to the selection of the module selection unit and to generate an audio bitstream; and a bitstream generation unit to generate an output bitstream from the speech encoding unit or the audio encoding unit according to the selection of the module selection unit.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for structuring a bitstream for an object-based audio service, and an apparatus for encoding the bitstream. A method of structuring a bitstream, may include: configuring the bitstream by separating the bitstream into a file header and frames of audio objects that are separated using a sound source separation scheme; and storing, in the file header, reproduction level information of audio objects.
Abstract:
The present invention is broadly directed towards a receiving container for an LCD apparatus for securing a lamp and lamp wiring connected to a lamp. The receiving container has features for substantially preventing the lamp wiring from being disconnected from the lamp. For example, a first through-hole for receiving the lamp wiring, a first trench, securing members, and securing projections are utilized to substantially prevent lamp wiring from being disconnected from a lamp. Additionally, the LCD apparatus is easily handled, dissipates heat effectively, and has a light weight.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for transmitting and receiving audio, particularly, to a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving of object-based audio contents, which packetizes audio objects having the same characteristic. To achieve the above, the present invention includes filtering a plurality of ESs according to common information, adding a packet header to the respective filtered ESs and generate ES packets, aggregating all the generated ES packets and then adding a multi-object packet header to the aggregated ES packets to generate an object packet, and multiplexing the generated object packet, packetizing the multiplexed object packet according to a transmitting media and transmitting the packetized object packet.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method of providing contents. The apparatus of providing the contents may include a receiving unit to receive, from a contents provider, contents and information about a contents providing location, a local group setting unit to search for at least one cell based on the information about the contents providing location and to set the retrieved cell as a content providing location group of the contents, and a transmitting unit to transmit the contents to the set content providing location group. The object based audio contents may be consecutively replayed based on an identical audio preset.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for creating, editing and reproducing a multi-object audio content file for an object-based audio service and a method for creating audio presets. The multi-object audio content file creating method includes creating a plurality of frames for each audio object forming an audio content; and creating a multi-object audio content file by grouping and storing the frames according to each reproduction time. This invention can enhance functions of the object-based audio service and make it easy to access to each audio object of an audio content file.
Abstract:
A method of identifying a plurality of RFID tags in an RFID reader includes generating a Query command to transmit the Query command to an RFID tag in a ready state, receiving an error detection code from the RFID tag that received the Query command, generating an acknowledgement (ACK) command to transmit the acknowledgement (ACK) command to the RFID tag that transmitted the error detection code when the error detection code is received without a collision, and receiving tag information including a protocol control (PC) and an electronic product code (EPC) of the RFID tag that transmitted the error detection code. It is possible to improve tag identification speed using an error detection code, such as a cyclic redundancy check (CRC)-16 code, which has uniformly-random characteristics like random number with 16 bits (RN 16), instead of RN 16 used in a conventional EPCglobal Class1 Generation2 standard.
Abstract:
Provided are an object-based three dimensional (3-D) audio service system using preset audio scenes and a method thereof. The system and the method are suggested for enabling a user to easily and conveniently watch and listen an object based 3-D audio service by eliminating inconvenience that requires a user to control each of object audio signals of sound sources. The system includes: audio input means for inputting an audio signal; preset audio scene generating means for extracting object audio signals from the audio signal inputted through the audio input means and generating more than one of 3-D audio scene information by arranging the extracted object audio signals in a 3-D space and editing features of each object; and encoding means for encoding and multiplexing the audio signal and the 3-D audio scene information for each object audio signal.
