    Abstract: Various implementations directed to an aircraft thermal management system are provided. In one implementation, an aircraft may include a fuselage having one or more fuselage sections. The aircraft may also include one or more electric motors configured to drive one or more propulsion systems of the aircraft, where the one or more electric motors are configured to generate thermal energy. The aircraft may further include an aircraft thermal management system configured to transfer the thermal energy generated by the one or more electric motors to the one or more fuselage sections.

    Abstract: Embodiments are directed to systems and methods for estimating wear in aircraft rotor systems. Data associated with loads and motions of a swashplate actuator is collected. The swashplate actuator drives a swashplate and at least one control link is coupled to the swashplate. The loads and motions of the at least one control link is estimated based upon the loads and motions of the swashplate actuator. Using a wear model, the current wear of control link components is estimated due to the loads and motions of the at least one control link. Wear estimates for the components are aggregated across multiple flights and used to determine when maintenance actions should occur.

    Abstract: An adjustable youth electric off-road vehicle includes an adjustable youth frame constructed and arranged to adjust to a variety of different youth sizes. The electric propulsion system is electrically coupled with the battery assembly and is constructed and arranged to provide off-road vehicle propulsion using the electric power while the adjustable youth frame is adjusted to any of the different youth sizes. With such a vehicle, the adjustable youth frame may be adjusted over time to a variety of different youth sizes to accommodate a growing youthful rider.

    Abstract: A magnetorheological damper, wherein the damper comprises a housing that is at least partially filed with a magnetorheological fluid, and a magnetorheological valve disposed within the housing. The valve includes a magnetically permeable core having at least one coil reservoir formed therein, and at least one conductor coil, wherein each conductor coil is disposed around a portion of the core within a respective one of the coil reservoir(s). The valve additionally includes a fluid flow path adjacent the conductor coil(s). The fluid flow path is structured and operable to allow the magnetorheological fluid to flow adjacent the conductor coil(s).     Abstract: A multi-mode aircraft power-split-transmission system includes a rotational power input and a power-split transmission. The power-split transmission includes a sun gear, a planetary carrier, a ring gear, a first rotational power output, and a second rotational power output. The multi-mode aircraft power-split-transmission system also includes a first resistance device coupled to the first rotational power output and fixed to an airframe of the multi-mode aircraft and a second resistance device coupled to the second rotational power output and fixed to the airframe. Operation of the first resistance device causes power received from the rotational power input to be directed to the second rotational power output.
