摘要： Methods and apparatuses for an electronic assembly. The electronic assembly has a first object created and separated from a host substrate. The first object has a first electrical circuitry therein. A carrier substrate is coupled to the first object wherein the first object is being recessed below a surface of the carrier substrate. The carrier substrate further includes a first carrier connection pad and a second carrier connection pad that interconnect with the first object using metal connectors. A receiving substrate, which is substantially planar, including a second electrical circuitry, a first receiving connection pad, and a second receiving connection pad that interconnect with the second electrical circuitry using the metal connectors. The carrier substrate is coupled to the receiving substrate using the connection pads mentioned.

Panels that comprise a subpixel repeating group having an even number of subpixels in a first direction may have parasitic capacitance and other signal errors due to imperfect dot inversion schemes thereon. Techniques for signal correction and localizing of errors onto particular subpixels are disclosed.

In one embodiment, a display system comprises: a transmissive display, said display comprising a plurality of colored subpixels wherein one such colored subpixel is substantially wide spectrum bandpass; a transmissive display controller, said display controller providing signals to said transmissive display to set the amount of transmissivity of each said colored subpixel; a backlight, said backlight providing illumination to said transmissive display; a backlight controller, said controller providing signals to said backlight to modulate the amount of illumination provided by said backlight to said transmissive display; peak surveying module for surveying image data and extracting the image gamut hull for providing intermediate backlight data signals to said backlight controller to match said image gamut hull; and a means for normalizing display image data signals according to said intermediate backlight data signals and providing said normalized image data as intermediate display data.

摘要： A subpixel arrangement structure for a display device includes a plurality of unit pixels each having a red subpixel, a green subpixel, and a blue subpixel. The red, green, and blue subpixels form a delta arrangement. Green subpixels are disposed on a plurality of first subpixel arrangement lines, each of which extends along a direction of a first axis. Two red subpixels and two blue subpixels are alternately disposed along the first axis direction on a plurality of second subpixel arrangement lines. Each of the plurality of second subpixel arrangement lines is positioned between every two of the plurality of first subpixel arrangement lines and extends along the first axis direction.

摘要： A display is disclosed having crossover connections effecting polarity inversion. The display includes a panel comprising a subpixel repeating group having an even number of repeating subpixels in a first direction. The display also includes a driver circuit coupled to the panel to provide image data signals effecting polarity inversion to the panel. The display also includes a plurality of crossover connections from the driver circuit to the columns of the panel such that polarities of same color subpixels in the first direction alternate at a spatial frequency sufficient to abate undesirable visual effects on the panel when an image is displayed thereon; each crossover connection applying the same polarity to each subpixel in the column.
