摘要: An optical bus system comprising an optical bus is furnished, along two opposed edges, with a plurality of signal light input/output portions for inputting and outputting signal light to and from the bus. Any one of the signal light input/output portions on one edge of the bus inputs signal light thereto and propagates the light to the opposite edge at which another signal light input/output portion outputs the propagated signal light from the bus. The system also comprises a plurality of light emitting/receiving circuits corresponding to the signal light input/output portions. Each light emitting/receiving circuit has a signal light sending unit and a signal light receiving unit. The signal light sending unit generates signal light and sends the generated signal light into the optical bus through the corresponding signal light input/output portion. The signal light receiving unit acquires a received light signal upon receipt of the signal light output by the corresponding signal light input/output portion. At least one of the light receiving/emitting circuits on each edge of the optical bus has a repeating or reflecting part that causes the corresponding signal light sending unit to send out the signal light received by the corresponding signal light receiving unit.

摘要: An optical bus production method for producing an optical bus having an improved transmission efficiency while preventing a data transmission failure. More specifically, the optical bus is produced by preparing first sheets that serve as a light transmission layer, a clad layer is formed on both front and rear sides of each of the first sheets and a second sheet is inserted, is prepared separately from the first sheet and serves as a clearance layer between the first sheets having the clad layer. The resulting optical bus includes a plurality of light transmission paths, each consisting of a light transmission layer and clad layers sandwiching the light transmission layer, and clearance layers for specifying the interval between the light transmission paths, each clearance layer being interposed between adjacent light transmission paths.

摘要: A data receiving device includes a receiving unit, an inverse conversion unit and an error correction unit. The receiving unit receives converted data, which is obtained by converting data including transfer data of a plurality of bits, and an error detection code for error detection of the transfer data, according to a predetermined first procedure. The inverse conversion unit inversely converts the received converted data according to a predetermined second procedure. If it is impossible for the inverse conversion unit to inversely convert the converted data, if it is possible for the inverse conversion unit to inversely convert inverted data obtained by inverting a portion of the bits of the converted data, and if an error is not detected in data obtained by inversely converting the inverted data based on the error detection code, the error correction unit performs error correction by inversely converting the inverted data.

摘要: A bearing stiffness of a sintered metal sleeve is prevented from lowering. A sleeve includes an inner section formed of metal powder for sintering and a resin for impregnation, and a surface deformation section which covers a surface of the inner section and is formed by shot blast process. Since the surface deformation section is formed by the shot blast process, the number of pores formed between the metal powder for sintering near the surface can be reduced. In this way, a supporting pressure at a bearing portion can be prevented from being released out through the pores, and the bearing stiffness can be prevented from lowering.

摘要: A semi-transmissive type liquid-crystal display device suppresses the reduction and corrosion of the transmission or common electrode due to the cell corrosion reaction with a simple method. In each pixel region, the reflection electrode is formed over the glass plate, where the interlayer insulating film and the barrier metal film intervene between them. The reflection electrode is electrically connected to the transmission electrode by way of the barrier metal film. The transmission electrode and the corresponding scanning line thereto are apart from each other at a distance of 2 μm (preferably, 3 μm) or greater. A developer solution penetrating through the crack formed in the barrier metal film does not reach the transmission electrode (or common electrode), preventing the reduction and corrosion of the transmission or common electrode.

摘要: A spindle motor including a rotor hub which is rotationally driven by a magnetic action of a rotational magnetic field generated when a current is applied to a wire wound around teeth of a stator core and a magnetic field of a magnet provided on a rotor. Herein, the stator core formed by laminating magnetic steel plates is mounted to an outer periphery of a supporting part of a rotation support shaft of the rotor hub, and the supporting part is made of sintered metal containing a ferromagnetic material. This spindle motor can suppress generation of vibration and noise even when it is reduced in size.

摘要: For signals to be transmitted through a signal transmission path constituted by a relay device group for relay for each set of a plurality of channels, a timing adjustment unit is provided in both or one of a receiver-side LSI and a transmitter-side LSI for each set of a plurality of channels transmitted through the relay device group for relay so that the signals can be transmitted with accurate timing. In addition, the timing adjustment unit can adjust the timing for signals transmitted through each relay device group, the timing in one receiver-side LSI in signal transmission through a plurality of relay device groups, and the timing in one-to-many signal transmission in which signals are transmitted from one transmitter-side LSI to a plurality of receiver-side LSIs.
