Abstract:
A relatively small capacity of airbag apparatus can be used by relatively shortening the distance between locations on which a passenger and the airbag apparatus are mounted to more effectively prevent a head and a neck of the passenger from being damaged through a discriminated supporting action of an upper body and a head part of the passenger while reducing a weight and a price of the airbag apparatus and the airbag apparatus can be easily standardized by configuration the airbag apparatus regardless of the shapes of a crash pad and a wind shield glass.
Abstract:
An active roll control device varies a position of a stabilizer link connecting a stabilizer bar with a suspension arm such that torsion rigidity of the stabilizer bar is varied to actively control the roll. A penetrating slot is formed in the suspension arm and may include a sliding unit that includes a rail plate disposed in a housing disposed at a lower side of the penetrating slot along a vehicle width direction and connects a connector that is movably disposed on the rail plate with a lower end of the stabilizer link to guide the stabilizer link along a width direction of the vehicle, and a drive unit having a lead screw as a rotation shaft through a three joint mounting portion that engages a screw connector connected to a hinge portion of the stabilizer link to transfer a driving torque to the stabilizer link.
Abstract:
A crossmember assembly for a vehicle may include an upper panel; a pair of lower panels assembled at a lower side of both end portions of the upper panel to form a first box, a center lower panel, a middle portion of which is assembled to a lower middle portion of the upper panel, and a front side lower arm mounting panel and a rear side lower arm mounting panel that are disposed at a lower front side and a lower rear side of the crossmember assembly, respectively, and mounted to the both end portions of the upper panel to house a lower arm.
Abstract:
An anti-roll device for a vehicle may include a lower arm disposed at both sides of a sub-frame, a rotation mounter formed at a middle portion of the sub-frame, a spring unit of which the middle portion is rotatably disposed at the rotation mounter, and a push rod connected to both sides of the spring unit and the lower arm, wherein the spring unit includes a plate spring of which both end portions are bent in opposite directions, an engagement portion having an engagement hole in the middle portion thereof is formed, and a bolt hole is formed at both ends thereof, an assistant spring that is disposed at both sides of the engagement portion and an assemble hole is formed in the middle portion corresponding to the engagement hole, and an engagement yoke engaged with the plate spring and the assistant spring and disposed on the rotation mounter.
Abstract:
An active roll control system (ARCS) can actively control roll of a stabilizer bar connected to a pair of upper arms mounted respectively at both sides of a vehicle body through stabilizer links. The system may include a rail plate mounted in a space formed by bending a middle portion of the suspension arm, a connector having a screw hole and a connecting end that is connected to the stabilizer link, upper and lower portions of the connector being movable along the rail plate, a drive motor coupled to the suspension arm and provided with a screw shaft, wherein the connector is movable along the rail plate, and a cover covering the space in a state of being coupled with the rail plate and having a slot formed at a lower surface thereof, wherein the stabilizer link being inserted in and movable along the slot.
Abstract:
A roof airbag apparatus for a vehicle, may include an inflator providing gas pressure, an air tube deploying towards sides of a passenger sitting on a seat when gas may be supplied from the inflator into the air tube, and a front support panel provided on a front end of the air tube to enclose a front portion of the passenger when the air tube may be deployed.
Abstract:
A device combining motor driven power steering with a compressor, may include a deceleration gearbox connected to a steering shaft, a motor selectively providing a steering force to the deceleration gearbox, a first electronic clutch mounted between the deceleration gearbox and a first shaft of the motor, and transmitting or discontinuing transmission of power from the motor to the deceleration gearbox, a power transmitting gear set transmitting power from the motor to a compressor, a second electronic clutch mounted between a second shaft of the motor and an input side of the power transmitting gear set, and transmitting or discontinuing transmission of power from the motor to the power transmitting gear set, and the compressor for an air conditioner, connected to an output side of the power transmitting gear set.
Abstract:
An active geometry control suspension, may include an assist link of which a wheel is connected to one end portion thereof to guide a movement of the wheel, a moving member, one portion of which is pivotally fixed to the other end portion of the assist link, a guide formed in the moving member and including a slot to slidably receive the moving member therein so as to guide a movement of the moving member, a body that is fixed to a vehicle body to connect the guide thereto, and a driving portion coupled to the other portion of the moving member and moving the moving member along the slot to vary a position of the assist link and thus to vary an alignment angle of the wheel.
Abstract:
A knuckle is minimized in size to be located in an internal space of a rear wheel. An upper arm is disposed lower than a conventional double wishbone type and one end of the upper arm is secured to the knuckle. A shock absorber couples at a lower end thereof to the knuckle by passing through a space between a lower arm and assist arm. This configuration thus constructed greatly increases the space of the trunk room, reduces noise by minimizing the transmission of road impact and vibration, and improves ride comfort as well as braking stability and turn stability.
Abstract:
A rear suspension system of an automotive vehicle is disclosed. A trailing arm is disposed in a lengthwise direction of a vehicle body, and a mounting bush secures a leading end portion of the trailing arm to the vehicle body. A protrusion member protrudes from an outside circumference of the mounting bush. A coupling is provided on the leading end portion of the trailing arm, for making the length of the protrusion member varied in accordance with an external force imposed on the trailing arm. Thus, the wheel alignment is maintained at the tow-in during a braking or turning, and therefore, the vehicle posture is stabilized during the braking or turning.
