Abstract:
A gate bias circuit for a plurality of GaAs amplifier stages is a transistor coupled to a temperature compensation current received from a CMOS control stage. A plurality of pHEMPT amplifier stages are coupled to the gate bias circuit and to a control voltage which switches the amplifier stage. A selectively controlled stage pass transistor enables a current mirror between the gate bias circuit and each stage amplifying transistor. The penultimate pHEMPT amplifier stage is coupled to a CMOS amplifier. A CMOS circuit provides both the temperature compensation current by a proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) circuit and the control voltage enabling each pHEMPT transistor to receive its input signal in combination with the gate bias voltage.

Disclosed is a dual-source converter for a hybrid power supply. The converter includes a first power circuit, a second power circuit, an auxiliary circuit, an output circuit and a closed loop circuit. The first power circuit is electrically connected to the second power circuit in series for receiving two varied voltage sources. The auxiliary circuit is configured to achieve soft switching of all switches. The closed loop circuit is configured to control the duty cycles of the first power circuit, the second power circuit and the auxiliary circuit so as to improve the efficiency of the dual-source converter.

A wall mount telephone is for use with a socket panel that includes at least one socket receptacle selected from a power socket and a telephone socket. The wall mount telephone includes a base and a handset device. The base includes a mounting wall having a back side provided with a plug that is adapted for direct removable connection with the socket receptacle. The plug is one of a power plug and a telephone plug. The handset device is removably disposed on the base and includes a circuit board that is electrically coupled to the plug to receive a signal from the socket receptacle via the plug when the plug is connected to the socket receptacle.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the invention relates to an all-digital spread spectrum clock generator comprising a phase detector, a time-to-digital converting unit, a digital loop filter, a delta-sigma modulator and a digital controlled oscillator. The phase detector receives a reference signal and a clock feedback signal to output first and second difference signals. The time-to-digital converting unit comprises timing amplifier to receive and amply the first and second difference signals to generate digital data. The digital loop filter receives and accumulates digital data to output first and second digital data. The delta-sigma modulator receives the second digital data to generate a resolution tuning word. The digital controlled oscillator adjusts its frequency of output clock signal according to the first difference signal, the second difference signal and the first digital data, and adjusts a resolution of the digital controlled oscillator according to the resolution tuning word.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a chip scale gas discharge protective device whose metal coupled electrodes are fabricated through processes of yellow light, image formation, and electro casting of metal electrode, and the two electrodes are facing each other in arch lines with the distance of a gap controlled within the range of 0.5˜10 μm, wherein the entire structure is performed by a bridge process without an extra gas filling procedure in the gap. Due to the fact that the gap is as small as only several μm, a relevant potential difference existing across there is sufficient to ionize the air thereby suppressing the electro-static discharge (ESD) through the protected electronic device, whereas the fabrication method is disclosed.
Abstract:
A method for an access service network gateway (ASN-GW) to provide multicast and broadcast services (MBSs) through a plurality of base stations (BSs) in an MBS zone. The method includes: generating a plurality of synchronization maps (SYNC MAPs) including synchronization information for the BSs to generate MBS data frames; and transmitting to the BSs the generated SYNC MAPs, one in each of a plurality of schedule intervals.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a chip-type protection device having an enclosed micro-gap between electrodes. The invention includes a substrate on which a pair of discharge electrodes extend towards each other by a micro-gap. A wall is disposed in a manner spaced apart from the micro-gaps by a predetermined distance, on which a cover portion is mounted in a straddling manner across the micro-gaps. The wall and the cover portion are integrated under a predetermined gaseous environment to form a hermectic chamber on which an outer protective layer is coated. End electrodes are subsequently formed on the substrate in a manner connected to conductive portions of the discharge electrodes. The invention provides a protection device against over-voltage.
Abstract:
This invention features a composition that includes a multiple-cell organism for use as food for an aquatic animal (e.g., a fish or a shrimp), and a single-cell organism fed to, and as a result, bioencapsulated by, the multiple-cell organism. The single-cell organism has been transformed to express a recombinant antigen that induces an immune response in the aquatic animal.

Abstract:
A sliding flat panel display and keyboard module for monitoring and controlling server computers on a server rack is described. The sliding flat panel display and keyboard module has an L-shaped supporting frame, a vertical sliding rail, a horizontal sliding rail, a flat panel display, and a keyboard. The vertical sliding rail and the horizontal sliding rail are respectively disposed on a vertical surface and a horizontal surface of the L-shaped supporting frame. The flat panel display couples to the vertical sliding rail and the keyboard couples to the horizontal sliding rail, so that the flat panel display and the keyboard are able to slide on the L-shaped supporting frame horizontally.
