    摘要: A process of performing via-filling efficiently and by a simple procedure is disclosed. The via-filling process comprises providing a substrate having blind via-holes, making the substrate electrically conductive, and plating the substrate in an acid copper plating bath which comprises the following components (A) to (E): (A) copper sulfate at a concentration of 100-300 g/L, (B) copper sulfate at a concentration of 30-150 g/L, (C) a first component (polymer component) such as polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, and Pluronic surfactants, at a concentration of 10-1000 mg/L, (D) a second component (carrier component) such as sodium sulfoalkyl sulfonates and bis-sulfo organic compounds at a concentration of 0.1-20 mg/L, and (E) a third component (leveler component) such as polyalkylene imines, 1-hydroxyethyl-2-alkyl imidazoline chlorides, auramine and its derivatives at a concentration of 0.05-10 mg/L.

    摘要: An amusement ride comprises a wheeled, multiple-seat cart or vehicle that is adapted to descend an inclined track having an upwardly curved launching portion, in a manner to launch the vehicle temporarily airborne in a trajectory similar to that of a ski jumper. The descent angle and upwardly curved launching portion of the track are very similar to a ski jump track. The vehicle is rollingly tethered to a pair of guy wires positioned on either side of the track and at a level relative to the track launch area to permit the vehicle to be launched temporarily airborne and fall freely without interference or restriction by the tethers. As gravity causes the vehicle to free fall, the tethers become taut with the guy wires, catch the vehicle in free-fall, and glide the vehicle along a pre-determined descent down the guy wires toward twin laterally spaced poles or towers at the end of the ride, each pole or tower connected to a respective guy wire. The bottom towers are laterally spaced upon either side of the line of descent and trajectory of the wheeled vehicle a distance that is considerably greater than the width of the launching tower. As the rolling tethers approach the laterally spaced lower towers along respective tether support cables, separation of the tethers at their points of contact with the guy wires tend to raise the vehicle against its own gravity weight, thereby causing its own gravity weight to brake the vehicle in its descent down the guy wires.

    摘要: In an abnormality monitoring apparatus of the present invention, a plurality of detectors (13, 14) are arranged at a plurality of positions in the axial direction of a pipeline (11) to detect respective sound waves (37) propagating from a position (B) of occurrence of abnormality. The aforementioned position is calculated from a sound wave detection time difference between the detectors (13, 14) and position between the detectors (13, 14). The apparatus further includes an abnormal waveform memory unit (28) for storing the waveforms of a plurality of kinds of typical abnormal sound waves generated from abnormality on the pipeline (11). A display device (19) displays, on the same image screen, the abnormal waveform stored in the abnormal waveform memory unit and that of the sound wave detected. It is, therefore, possible for a monitoring personnel to readily identify a kind of abnormality occurred.

    摘要: An axial gap rotating electrical machine is provided with permanent magnets and cores in a rotor. The permanent magnets are oriented such that magnetization surfaces face in the circumferential direction of the rotor. The cores are arranged alternately with the permanent magnets in the circumferential direction of the rotor. The amount of magnetic flux on the outside in the radial direction of the rotor is made greater than the amount of magnetic flux on the inside in the radial direction of the rotor. As a result, the magnetic flux density at the rotor cores can be made substantially constant in the radial direction of the rotor and torque output with respect to the size of the permanent magnets is improved by preventing magnetic saturation of the cores.

The rotor is provided with salient poles and permanent magnets that are positioned separately around the circumference of the rotor. Accordingly, north poles and south poles are alternately formed on a surface of the rotor that faces the stator. The magnetic resistance of a magnetic path that passes through the permanent magnets is larger than the magnetic resistance of a magnetic path that does not pass through the permanent magnets. Accordingly, the axial gap electric rotary machine is able to function as a reluctance motor and as a permanent magnet synchronous motor using a single set of facing surfaces of the rotor and the stator, respectively.
