    摘要： A method for confining circuit cards to different locations within a housing is provided. The housing includes a frame having an array of slots, each containing one of the circuit cards. In one embodiment, the receptacle has a cam that is selectively engageable with the frame for clamping the circuit cards within the frame. In another embodiment, a shaft is rotatably attached to the receptacle. The shaft has a head at one end and a nut opposite the head. A resilient element is disposed on the shaft between the head and the nut. The resilient element is axially compressible between the head and nut to bulge generally perpendicularly to the axial direction into engagement with the frame for clamping the circuit cards within the frame.

The drive includes a first head optically communicating with the media on a first side and a second label printing head for applying a visual label associated with the unit of optical media on a second side while the media is in an operational position. The first head includes an optical read-only head or read-write head. The second label printing head includes a fixed or movable print head, thermal, ink jet, or laser print head. The second head can communicate through electrical contacts or a wireless interface with a circular film having addressable elements capable of being addressed and providing a visual display via liquid crystal elements.

In some examples, the plant growing apparatus includes a carousel that is powered such that controlled movement of tubs/containers/vessels with plants or plant matter on the carousel about an axis allows for controlled and measured exposure of the plants/plant matter to predetermined frequencies of light from a light source. The light sources are positioned such that, as the plants/plant matter pass by the light sources in a controlled and timed rotation, a predictable amount of light in predetermined frequencies that is necessary to promote healthy plant growth is provided to the plant/plant matter. The described plant growing apparatus including the carousel provides a uniform distribution of light vis-à-vis traditional plant growing methods and therefore achieves higher yields from the plant/plant matter.

    摘要： A system comprising a portable computer chassis having an internal speaker; openings in the chassis from which sound from the speaker can emanate, wherein the openings allow heat generated by the system to escape is provided. In one embodiment, the internal speaker is located at least a minimum distance away from the openings. By utilizing speaker grills as ventilation openings in this manner, ventilation openings on the bottom side of notebook computers can be eliminated and user comfort can be increased when the system is placed on the lap. Additionally, system reliability is improved as ventilation is also increased.
