摘要: A user equipment (UE) displays a list of available networks for manual network selection. The UE detects multiple networks during a public land mobile network (PLMN) scan, wherein the multiple networks include one or more PLMNs and one or more stand-alone non-public networks (SNPNs), generates a manual network selection list that includes at least i) the one or more PLMNs or ii) the one or more SNPNs, determines a sequence in which entries of the manual network selection list are to be displayed at the UE, displays a graphical user interface (GUI) that includes a representation of the manual network selection list and registers with one of the multiple networks in response to user input.

摘要: Computer systems and methods are described for operating a network data and analytics function (NWDAF) in a cellular core network. The NWDAF receives user equipment (UE) mobility information from a first network function of the cellular network system and receives edge application server (EAS) information from a second network function of the cellular network system. The NWDAF derives data analytics based at least in part on the UE mobility information and the edge application server information. The NWDAF receives a request for the data analytics from a third network function in the cellular network system, and provides the data analytics to the third network function.

摘要: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to adaptively manage system information, particularly on-demand system information. A UE may receive mandatory system information from a wireless network and may determine that at least some additional, e.g., on-demand, system information would be beneficial. The UE may evaluate whether a condition is met to request the additional system information and may initiate a random access procedure to request the additional system information. If the random access procedure fails, the UE may adjust its behavior, including reselection behavior, in response to lacking the additional system information.

The UE determines an extent of preference of the second frequency range over the first frequency range, e.g., based on one or more of the following: sensor measurements; physical channel measurements; battery conditions; weather conditions; voice call activity; indoor/outdoor/in-car status; learned relationships between previous location-time conditions and performance on the second frequency range; etc. The UE device may control search activity and/or measurement activity on the second frequency range based on the preference extent, e.g., by controlling rates of repetition of search and/or measurement on the second frequency range, or by adding a measurement bias to a measurement reporting threshold, or by adding a delay to a measurement reporting time for a measurement, or by disabling search and measurement on the second frequency range.

The wireless device may establish a radio resource control connection, and may subsequently release the resource control connection. The wireless device may store antenna element and beam information for the resource control connection. If the wireless device determines to do so, the wireless device may use the stored antenna element and beam information when establishing that radio resource control connection.

摘要: Systems, devices and methods for a user equipment (UE) to perform public land mobile network (PLMN) selection with a non-terrestrial network (NTN) dedicated to an international area. The UE receives a downlink message from the NTN, where the downlink message includes a public land mobile network (PLMN) identifier of a first PLMN of the NTN including an information element (IE). The IE indicates that the NTN is dedicated to an international area. Responsive to receiving the downlink message, the UE determines a current location of the UE and determines whether the current location is in the international area. The UE provides an international area notification to an access and mobility management function (AMF) servicing the UE to forward to a home PLMN (HPLMN) of the UE indicating whether the current location is in the international area.

摘要: Emergency services support is indicated to roaming devices in a wireless network. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message from the wireless network indicating at least one public land mobile network (PLMN) that provides emergency services support for devices in limited service. The UE may store, in a non-volatile memory (NVM), an identifier of the at least one PLMN in a whitelist of limited service emergency services support. In response to a trigger in a roaming limited service condition of the UE, the UE may establish an emergency session with a selected PLMN based on the whitelist of limited service emergency services support.
