摘要： A snowboard binding mounting disk (24) includes a body (28) through which 3-hole and 4-hole patterns (8, 10) of mounting holes are formed. The centers of a pair of the 3-hole mounting holes are separated by a base distance (Z). The centers of a pair of the 4-hole mounting holes are separated by an end distance (Y). The end and base distances differ by a distance delta. The pair of end holes and the pair of base holes are positioned adjacent to one another so that the end and base holes overlap one another to create a pair of oblong, dual purpose holes (30). A removable and replaceable mounting element positioner (29) is mounted to the oblong holes at one of two stable positions. The position chosen is determined by whether the dual purpose holes are to be used for the 3-hole pattern or for the 4-hole pattern. The central opening (20) in the base is preferably made by stamping a grooved peripheral surface (22) sized to engage a complementary grooved surface (53) on the disk.

摘要： A test cell for use in a semiconductor manufacturing operation allowing alignment of semiconductor devices to be tested to a test station. The test cell is well suited for testing semiconductor devices on carrier strips. To aid in alignment, the test cell includes a down-ward looking camera and a simple upward looking sensor. Fiducials are acurately positioned relative to the test site, which are easily detected by the simple sensor. A controller within the test cell uses the output of the camera and the sensor, in conjunction with position sensors on a robotic assembly, to determine relative positions of the devices to be tested and the test station and issue the appropriate commands to align the devices to the test station.

摘要： A process for reducing the residual monomer level of a polymer latex prepared by emulsion polymerization comprises exposing the latex in a separate vessel from that in which the main polymerization has been carried out to conditions under which free radicals are produced by a secondary catalyst added to the latex, the said catalyst being oil soluble or having an oil soluble component. In a preferred embodiment a polymer latex prepared by the emulsion polymerization of styrene alone or a mixture containing styrene having a residual styrene level not exceeding 0.1% based on latex volume may be obtained.

摘要： A robotic die sorter having pick and place arm assemblies and a mutli-camera optical inspection system is disclosed. A pick arm of the pick arm assembly picks a die from a semiconductor wafer, and a place arm of the place arm assembly receives the die from the pick arm and places same in a reel of pocketed tape. After picking, the pick arm and the place arm are rotated into facing arrangement, whereupon the die is transferred to the place head of the place arm and a camera of the optical inspection system to detect defects in the die. After inspection, the place arm rotates toward the pocketed tape and places the die into the pocketed tape. Additional cameras of the optical inspection system allow for calibration of the pick and place arms, as well as monitoring of the die transfer process.
