摘要: A soluble zinc polyphosphate complex made by combining ingredients which include an inorganic zinc salt and a plurality of long chain polyphosphates having 6 or more phosphate polymer units, the relative amount of inorganic zinc salt and long chain polyphosphates providing a phosphorus to zinc mole ratio of at least 6:1. Further provided is a method of making this soluble zinc polyphosphate.

摘要: A soluble zinc polyphosphate complex made by combining ingredients which include an organic zinc salt and a plurality of long chain polyphosphates having 6 or more phosphate polymer units, the organic zinc salt and long chain polyphosphates being mixed in amounts that provide a phosphorus to zinc mole ratio of 15:1 to about 55:1. Further provided is a method of making this soluble zinc polyphosphate.

摘要: The present invention provides an oral care composition comprising: (a) a first composition comprising a silica abrasive and a first zinc compound selected from zinc citrate, zinc chloride, zinc acetate, zinc lactate, zinc salicylate, zinc sulfate, and zinc nitrate; and (b) a second composition comprising a calcium carbonate abrasive; wherein the first composition and/or the second composition further comprises a second zinc compound selected from zinc oxide, zinc carbonate and zinc tartrate; and wherein the oral care composition optionally further comprises from 0.1 to 1.75 weight % of a tartar control agent, based on the total weight of the oral care composition.

摘要: Improved analytical, diagnostic, monitoring, and other methods (and their associated devices) for evaluating the extent of deposition of an agent onto a substrate are described. Exemplary methods may be used in the in the monitoring of the dental health of patients or in the fast, efficient screening and/or characterization of formulations in terms of their use for depositing oral actives onto tooth surfaces. The methods involve the direct or in situ analysis of substrates, onto which agents are deposited, using Near-IR spectroscopy and/or UV spectroscopy.
