Abstract:
A solid state lighting apparatus can include an electrical connector that is configured to couple to a standardized electrical fixture, where the electrical connector provides a recess therein. A cover can be coupled to the electrical connector to cover the recess and a solid state lighting driver circuit can be located beneath the cover. A solid state lighting housing, that is separate from the electrical connector and the cover, can be configured to house a solid state light emitting device and at least one flexible wire can electrically couple the solid state lighting driver circuit to the solid state light emitting device.
Abstract:
A linear light fixture with gap filler elements. The fixture comprises two primary structural components: a base and a light engine, which may be removably attached. The base comprises a body with end panels at both ends and is mountable to an external structure. The light engine comprises the light sources, an elongated lens, and any other optical elements that tailor the outgoing light to a particular profile. External reflectors are included to further shape the output beam. The reflectors may be shaped to define louvers which direct some of the emitted light in a direction opposite the primary emission direction, e.g., as uplight. The fixtures may be connected in a serial arrangement using a joiner.
Abstract:
A lamp comprises a LED lamp comprising a base. A plurality of LEDs are attached to a first side of the base. A lens covers the plurality of LEDs. A power supply provides power to the LEDs. A first electrical connector provides power to the power supply. A troffer housing comprises a wire way for receiving the power supply. A second electrical conductor is adapted to be connected to a source of power. The base is secured to the troffer housing where the power supply is located in the wire way and the first electrical conductor is connected to the second electrical conductor.
Abstract:
A light fixture includes a LED assembly and a housing. A first end cap is permanently connected to the troffer. A lens assembly comprises a lens covering the LED assembly and a second end cap, the lens having a first end connected to the second end cap and a second end releasably connected to the first end cap. The second end cap is releasably connected to the housing such that the lens and the second end cap are releasably mounted to the housing as a unit. The lens has a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge where a first magnetic strip is attached to the first longitudinal edge and a second magnetic strip is attached to the second longitudinal edge. The first and second magnetic strips are magnetically adhered to the housing.
