    Abstract: A pulse power source apparatus that supplies a drive power to a pulse load circuit that periodically generates pulse current constituted of one or more consecutive pulses from the drive power. The pulse power source apparatus includes a DC voltage generation unit generating DC output voltage supplied to the pulse load circuit, and a pulse load drive signal generation unit generating a drive signal that drives the pulse load circuit to generate the pulse current. The DC output voltage which has dropped due to output of the pulse current is controlled such that a timing at which the DC output voltage reaches a reference potential corresponds to a timing at which a subsequent pulse current is generated, the reference potential being a potential capable of generating the pulse.

    Abstract: A power transmission device for supplying electric power wirelessly to a power reception device equipped with a power reception coil includes a power transmission resonance circuit equipped with a power transmission coil and a power transmission resonance capacitor connected in parallel therewith, a tertiary resonance circuit, and a power transmission control unit that controls the tertiary resonance switching element. The tertiary resonance circuit includes a tertiary coil, a tertiary resonance capacitor connected in parallel therewith, and a tertiary resonance switching element connected in parallel with the tertiary coil. The tertiary resonance switching element is operable to switch between an open state and a short-circuited state of the tertiary resonance switching element. When making a switch from an energized state to a standby state, the power transmission control unit short-circuits the tertiary resonance switching element to place the tertiary coil and the tertiary resonance capacitor in a non-resonance state.

    Abstract: A power supply system includes: a power transmission circuit provided on the ground side; a high frequency generation circuit that supplies high-frequency electric power to the power transmission circuit; a measurement unit that measures a physical quantity corresponding to the degree of coupling between the power transmission circuit and a power reception circuit provided in a vehicle; and a control unit. When the degree of coupling is determined, based on the measured physical quantity, to be lower than a predetermined degree, the control unit sets the impedance of the power transmission circuit to a first impedance and thereby sets the power transmission circuit to a non-resonant state. In contrast, when the degree of coupling is determined to be not lower than the predetermined degree, the control unit sets the impedance of the power transmission circuit to a second impedance and thereby sets the power transmission circuit to a resonant state.

    Abstract: A power supplying device includes a power transmission circuit transmitting AC power and a power transmission resonance circuit including a power transmission coil. A power receiving device includes a power reception resonance circuit including a power reception coil. When a coupling coefficient between the power transmission coil and the power reception coil is a predetermined coupling coefficient, resonance of a first resonance mode having a first resonance frequency and a second resonance mode having a second resonance frequency are generated, a resonance frequency of the power transmission resonance circuit and the power reception resonance circuit is set to a value which is one of the first and second resonance frequencies, and the set value is a frequency deviating from a reference resonance frequency of the power transmission resonance circuit alone by a predetermined deviation frequency or more. A driving frequency of the AC power is set to the set value.

    Abstract: A non-contact power supply apparatus includes a transmission-side pad, a transmission-side resonant circuit, a reception-side pad, a reception-side resonant circuit, a power transmission circuit, a power reception circuit, and a control circuit. The control circuit controls an alternating-current voltage supplied to the transmission-side pad and an alternating-current voltage supplied to the power reception circuit, so that a power factor of the alternating current supplied from the power transmission circuit to the transmission-side pad connected to the transmission-side resonant circuit and direct-current power supplied from the power supply circuit to an on-board battery are respectively set to target values. As a result, change in power factor can be suppressed even when the coupling coefficient of the transmission-side pad and the reception-side pad changes, and predetermined electric power can be transmitted.
