Abstract:
A process for scouring textile materials is provided. The process comprising contacting the textile material with scouring textile materials, comprising contacting the textile materials with a composition comprising an alkyl alkoxylate sulfate of formula I, a nonionic alkyl alkoxylate of formula II, and water.
Abstract:
The present invention provides compositions containing a wetting agent, a polycarboxylate type surfactant, and a sulfonate type surfactant. The composition can be used as an additive package composition in a pesticide suspension concentrate formulation to enhance thermal stability.
Abstract:
Provided are surfactant compositions that are useful as alternatives to alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) type surfactants in emulsion polymerization. The surfactant compositions comprise: an alkyl alkoxylate sulfate of formula (I): R1O—(CH2CH(R2)—O)x—(CH2CH2O)y—SO3M wherein R1, R2, x, y, and M are as defined herein.
Abstract:
A freeze-thaw stabilizer additive composition including (a) at least one anti-freezing agent; and (b) at least one emulsifier; and (c) any other desired optional compound; a process for making the above freeze-thaw stabilizer additive composition, a paint formulation made containing the above freeze-thaw stabilizer additive composition; and a process for making the above paint formulation.
Abstract:
A method for purification of organic amines, comprising introducing a resin polymer matrix to a liquid containing at least an organic amine bonded to at least one metallic element, wherein the resin polymer matrix is embedded with an amino compound selected from the group consisting of iminodiacetic acid, aminomethylphosphonic acid or a combination thereof, and wherein the embedded resin polymer matrix binds the at least one metallic element, and the at least one metallic element is removed from the organic amine.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to solvents for pesticides and pesticide formulations. In one aspect, a solvent for pesticides comprises (a) an ether ester of Formula 1: wherein R1 and R2 are each independently one of an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aryl group, wherein R3 is hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl, and wherein n is 1 to 6; and (b) a polar amide of Formula 2: R4—C(O)—NR5R6 (Formula 2) wherein R4 is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and wherein R5 and R6 are each independently an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
Abstract:
The process of making a lithium ion battery cathode comprises the step of forming a slurry of an active material, a nano-size conductive agent, a binder polymer, a solvent and a dispersant. The solvent consists essentially of one or more of a compound of Formula 1, 2, or 3, and the dispersant comprises an ethyl cellulose.
