Abstract: The present invention relates to an aqueous vinyl polymer dispersion comprising: —the reaction product of free radical emulsion polymerized alpha, beta-ethylenically unsaturated monomers (A) of a monomer mixture (A1) and a monomer mixture (A2), and—one or more crosslinker(s) (B), said alpha, beta-ethylenically unsaturated monomers (A) comprising: —one or more alpha, beta-ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) (i) having a crosslinkable group; —one or more alpha, beta-ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) (ii) having a silane group; —one or more polyfunctional ethylenically unsaturated monomer(s) (iii); —one or more copolymerizable surfactant(s) (iv); and—further non-ionic alpha, beta-ethylenically unsaturated monomers being different from monomers (i) to (iv). The present invention further relates to a coating composition comprising said aqueous dispersion and to a method for producing a coated substrate comprising said coating composition.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a conjugated diene-based polymer, which includes a step of preparing a conjugated diene-based polymer by initiating and carrying out polymerization while continuously adding conjugated diene-based monomers to a reactor, and in which an emulsifier is dividedly added before the initiation of the polymerization and when a polymerization conversion rate of 31% to 80% is reached. More particularly, the present invention relates to: a method for preparing a conjugated diene-based polymer and a method for preparing a graft copolymer including the method for preparing a conjugated diene-based polymer, by which a total usage amount of an emulsifier can be reduced.

Abstract: A method for producing a chloroprene graft copolymer latex includes a step of adding an ethylenic double bond-containing silane coupling agent (B) to a chloroprene polymer latex and graft copolymerizing the ethylenic double bond-containing silane coupling agent (B) to the chloroprene polymer (A) in the chloroprene polymer latex at 10° C. to 50° C. (inclusive). The amount of the ethylenic double bond-containing silane coupling agent (B) added is 0.4 parts by mass to 9.0 parts by mass (inclusive) per 100 parts by mass of the chloroprene polymer (A). The present invention also relates to an adhesive containing the chloroprene graft copolymer latex and to a method for using the adhesive. The present invention can provide a method for producing a chloroprene graft copolymer latex containing no organic solvent and having high adhesive strength to glass, an adhesive containing the same, and a method for using the adhesive.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to: an acrylic laminate film containing an acrylic copolymer and having a three-layer structure of an inner layer, an intermediate layer, and an outer layer; a method for producing same; and a deco sheet produced therefrom. An object of the present invention is to provide a three-layer-structured acrylic laminate film produced from an acrylic copolymer. Another object of the present invention is to provide: an acrylic laminate film having significantly improved optical properties and surface smoothness by using an acrylic copolymer alone without mixing the same with additional polymers; and a method for producing the acrylic laminate film. Abstract: The present invention aims to provide an acrylic copolymer capable of maintaining excellent storage stability in the uncrosslinked state even after long-term exposure to high temperatures, and a crosslinked acrylic rubber product produced from the acrylic copolymer which maintains good normal-state properties and good water resistance. The present invention is based on the finding that an acrylic copolymer produced by polymerizing a liquid mixture of an alkoxyalkyl (meth)acrylate containing an alkoxyalkyl group and a crosslinkable monomer containing a carboxy group has excellent storage stability and that a crosslinked product produced from the acrylic copolymer has good normal-state properties and good water resistance.
