Provided are a colored composition which can maintain good light fastness even when placed under an environment having a low oxygen concentration for a long period of time, a cured film, a color filter, a method for producing a color filter, a solid-state image sensor, and an image display device.The colored composition includes a dye multimer (A) and a solvent (B), in which the dye multimer (A) has a partial structure derived from a xanthene dye having a cationic moiety, and also has an anionic moiety, and the content of water in the colored composition is 0.01% by mass to 3.0% by mass.

Herein provided are radiation-sensitive colored compositions suppressing a phenomenon in which a radiation-sensitive colored composition of another color penetrates into previously formed pixels to result in a decrease in the color purity of the previously obtained pixels; cured colored films and color filters using them; processes for forming colored patterns; processes for preparing the color filters; solid-state image sensors; and image display devices.The radiation-sensitive colored compositions comprise a dyestuff, a photopolymerizable compound, a photoinitiator, and a nonionic surfactant containing a partial structure represented by formula (1) or (2) below and having a weight average molecular weight of 2500 or less and an HLB value of 9.2 to 15.5 as determined by Griffin's method. In formula (1) and (2), R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrocarbon group containing 8 or more carbon atoms, and n1 and n2 each independently represent 4 to 25.

A curable composition includes: an α-type oxytitanium phthalocyanine pigment; and a curable compound. A method of manufacturing a curable composition includes a step of dispersing an α-type oxytitanium phthalocyanine pigment and a pigment other than an oxytitanium phthalocyanine pigment in the presence of a solvent. A film, an infrared cut filter, and an infrared transmitting filter are formed using the curable composition. A pattern forming method includes: a step of forming a curable composition layer on a support using the curable composition; and a step of forming a pattern on the curable composition layer using a photolithography method or a dry etching method. The device is a solid image pickup element, an infrared sensor, or an image display device including the film.

To provide a near-infrared absorption composition capable of forming a film having excellent visible transparency and near-infrared shieldability, a cured film, a near-infrared absorption filter, a solid-state imaging device, and an infrared sensor. A near-infrared absorption composition includes a compound represented Formula (1) and a resin, the compound has a maximum absorption wavelength in a wavelength range of 750 to 830 nm in a film in a case where the film is formed using the near-infrared absorption composition, and a value obtained by dividing an absorbance at a wavelength of 555 nm by an absorbance at the maximum absorption wavelength is 0.10 or less.

The objects of the present invention are to provide a coloring composition that is less likely to remain on a pattern of other colors as residues and can inhibit occurrence of coating defects, a colored pattern, a color filter, a method of producing a color filter, a pattern forming method, a solid-state imaging device, and an image display device, each using the same.In order to achieve the above objects, the present invention provides a coloring composition containing a resin (A) having a dye structure, in which in a peak area of the total molecular weight distribution of the resin (A) measured by gel permeation chromatography, a proportion of a peak area of a component having a molecular weight of 20,000 or more is 10% or less.
